We chose this hotel for a family trip with ten of us including four children under ten. It is ideally located in central Apia right next to the bus station, the 'old market' (which sadly burnt down in the last couple of days) and the fish market. The hotel is well designed in well kept pretty gardens with a large...

Talofa Oranges Thank you for taking time out to write your review and hope you had a painless trip all the way back to the UK. Moreover we are glad that you and the tribe enjoyed their stay in Samoa and were able to catch up with family and have an authentic Samoan experience. Important to us is that you...

Tanoa is a comfortable, clean & well appointed hotel. The restaurant delivers great food and you have the option of room service. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is central enough but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Beach Road. The grounds are well kept and staff are always well presented.

Talofa Lori Whilst we never would be so bold as to say we are the best hotel in Apia we will certainly graciously except your compliment. There are several different accommodation options depending on your budget and we all offer different levels of comfort according to your requirements. As the largest hotel in Apia we are certainly very popular with...

Tanoa has great facilities, good breakfast and the staff are usually pretty good. The rooms have what one needs, the air conditioner in the rooms work well and the showers have strong hot water. A couple of times throughout our 1 week stay we had to ask for our rooms to be serviced and for towels to be brought to...

My family stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights at Tanoa during the week of Christmas, and it was the best experience for my children! Kudos and Many THANKS to the lovely staff at the front desk, Lofi and gals, who served me well during my last-minute reservation just less than two hours before I checked in. It was actually...

We stayed here as a family 7 of us over 5 rooms. The hotel itself was good and functional, however 2 of us were working so it didn't really provide services (wifi) for business people. However the management provided us with useful information on how this could be remedied, so that we were able to work efficiently while on the...

Talofa Zymoticbug We appreciate your review. particularly considering some of our guests perhaps embraced the festive season with a little too much joy and vigor. Great location. Best hotel in Apia. Very helpful attentive staff who go above and beyond to assist you. It is short walk from the centre of town, government offices, bus station and colourful markets, yet quiet, set in beautiful tropical gardens opposite the harbour wall, a park and the ocean. Hotel transfers to and from the airport were prompt and...

I found the rooms very nice & comfortable. East to relax here. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good and the staff made us a few 'fresh off the press' muffins. The Tanoa Tusitala Hotel features a portrait of Robert Louis Stevenson ("tusitala" or teller of tales) behind the reception desk, and was a good base in Apia for my eventual trip up Mt Vaea to see "Requiem" inscribed on the tomb of RLS.
