After 4 straight months on a large project without a day off, Camelback was my first choice for recovery and relaxation. We had a great room location near the spa with gorgeous view of the "camelback" off our terrace. Breakfast on the terrace one morning was so relaxing and peaceful. Staff is exceptional and very service oriented! Great property, great...

The service at this resort is phenomenal, from valet, to the front desk, to poolside, literally everyone knows what top notch service is. The grounds were very clean and the buildings were all modern with a south western flare, they claim this is bill Marriott jr.'s favorite property. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is because our...

We stayed at the Camelback for 6 days in October as part of a business meeting that we had at the hotel. It was a great experience. Great service, great food, great facilities. The grounds are beautiful and we had a beautiful room with a great view. We especially enjoyed happy hour on the patio - great drinks, great food...

This is our resort of choice in Scottsdale. The staff is fantastic. The rooms and amenities are great. And the breakfast in the courtyard is delicious and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful. And, the night scene at the courtyard was fun. We will be back as soon as we can!

Many people think of The Phoenician first when considering Scottsdale resorts, but the Camelback Inn is an excellent option, with excellent amenities and a smaller footprint. I spent 3 days there, attending a conference, and enjoyed a top flight experience. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are above average. I upgraded to a View room, gaining a patio seating area which...

Just returned from a work retreat, where our company rented the entire resort. This may have lead to a slightly different experience than most, though I think I can still provide an objective review. Overall, I expected the JW Camelback to just be this amazing property, and while nice, it isn't that. It's scenic and well kept, but the rooms...

We just stayed at this property and were very happy with it. It's a very scenic setting in a lovely area. The room we stayed in could use a makeover, but it seemed like the bathroom had been recently renovated anyway. The spa services were great, although I recommend massages over mani-pedis. The pool and gym facilities were good. Food...

Since my last visit in the fall of 2012, the hotel has spent some $$$ on upgrading its bathrooms which was much needed. The hotel itself is spread across several acres in the Scottsdale desert and while that sounds arid, the landscaping is lush and green with lot of flora throughout the meandering walkways that wind through the property. These...

All-in-all, this resort was a fantastic getaway that delivered the relaxation we needed. In fact it's so good, we were told that this resort is the favorite of Marriott's chairman and he stays here every year on his birthday. Pros: Excellent and almost prescient staff. Staff members would offer help even before we realized ourselves we needed it, whether it...

We've been lucky enough to travel quite a bit and stay in very nice places. NONE compare to the Camelback. NONE. The service is consistently excellent. From the moment you arrive you are treated as a welcomed guest. Each team member goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. The rooms are luxurious and quiet, the grounds are...
