"haunted" downtown Phoenix location, I'll start with the Pros...It is charming and very clean. It is close to everything downtown and is a reasonable price. The Wi-Fi was free and the rooftop pool seemed to be a great spot to relax. If you are staying here by yourself, it is not too bad. The bed was comfortable and although the...

I like this place. It was clean, the staff was very courteous, the room was comfortable, and most of all it was very convenient to all downtown attractions. The only criticism that I have is that the Wi-Fi in the room is very slow( I measured it at 2 mps). This is certainly no problem if you're on vacation, but...

Good location. Comfy (but only queen sized) beds. Paper thin walls .... small bathrooms with extremely fluctuating water temps Pool area is 'ok' and works. Cleaning staff was good and so were front desk and valet staff. Not my first choice but works .... if on a budget

Caveat: I prefer old properties, which this is. That being said some of the rooms are not handicap friendly as there is a step up to get into the bathroom. However, what a gorgeous art deco lobby! Friendly & helpful front desk staff too. My room was nicely appointed with period style furnishings, very comfortable & clean as a whistle....

Hotel was built in 1928 and is really cool to stay at. Recently renovated but still retains the charm with the old bath fixtures and the crown moldings in the rooms. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds.

The good points on this hotel are sadly very slim. The staff are helpful and attentive, the location is good if you want to be in central Phoenix with excellent public transport links. As to the bad points there are lots. Unfortunately a decrepit room is not "experienced" as described in the literature. In ours the 1980s TV cabinet had...

Wife and I flew into Phoenix and arrived to the hotel at 12:30 pm with carry-on luggage and wanted to check in early. Lady working told me check in was at 4 and I would be charged $25.00 for early check in. Traveled all over the world and have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels and If arrived early...

Dear Guest! Thank you for your time and review and we are very sorry for disappointing you with early check in fees. Normally, we do not charge any fees however, this time we were oversold and the time between checkout and check in very narrow to have the rooms ready for the next arriving guests. I do remember arranging your...

The pictures on the website are NOT what my room looked like. The room was run down and very small. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I've ever experienced from a hotel stay. The location was ideal waking distance to the convention center and other hotels (where conference was held).

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is cool inside and looks very historic. The walls and doors are very thin. You hear everything!!! Beds were a little stiff but we are used to a pillowtop mattress. The kids loved the view and had fun looking at the pictures on the walls. The rooms are on the small side...

Deer Guest! Thank you for your time and your comments. We are happy to hear that the kids enjoyed their stay and had fun seeing the old historic pictures everywhere at the hotel. We are very sorry for the noise and the stiff beds. The hotel has the cute Ghost Stories like any other buildings that were built in the...

Stayed here one night because of a previous stay 5 years ago and love the history behind the place and the location. The hotel and rooms are clean but outdated - especially the bathrooms. I love the artwork and photos on each floor and the many stories they tell about the Hollywood stars who have stayed there. It even made...
