My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton for 4 nights in early February. We had a super comfortable and quiet king room with a great view of the mountains. The rooms and bathrooms have been renovated recently and are well provided for. I liked the coffee/tea station and refrigerator hidden by louvered doors. Despite the lobby renovation going on, it was easy to check-in and out and maneuver entrance and exit. I look forward to returning when the work has been completed!
We did take advantage of the in-room safe, but unfortunately left some jewelry items in the safe when we checked out. The staff of the hotel were very responsive in location the jewelry and sending it to us via FedEx very promptly.
The concierge service was exceptional, with helpful maps and restaurant and activities lists for Phoenix and Scottsdale. The hotel's location was very convenient, both for walking and easy access via ride shares.
Thanks for a great stay!

This was wow experience for Bon-voy member. From the minute you get out of the Lyft friendly team members at valet, easy and a bit early check-in by Nancy. Nice quiet high floor corner room very comfortable big bathroom for getting ready for the day. You come back to your room after a long day on the convention floor with fresh towels the bed made real hotel experience again!

Had the opportunity to sample the banquet food with large group awards banquet, served quickly, piping hot and very good.

Pool opens early maintenance is there cleaning it first thing making for enjoyable swimming early morning. The restaurant is finally open for dinner and drinks in the evening very good craft cocktails reasonably priced very efficient and fun staff at the bar.

Executive lounges top notch very relaxing wonderful crew working in there. Unbelievable service front to back of property. Very clean and well maintained too. I didn't want to leave but I must go to my next stop.

Stayed here for 3 days in mid-march to see the Imagine Dragons at the Footprint Center, visit family and friends. I have no complaints about the stay except for the $15 daily charges on my bill. Any level of Bonvoy membership provides free internet at this property and as a gold elite member I didn't expect to get charged when I connected my device(s) to the hotel wifi.

Despite my Bonvoy number on the bill I received at my email address I was still charged for internet and had to call customer service to get them to reverse the charges. The optimist would say this is simple oversight while the pessimist might say it was done to bilk another $50 out of my stay.
If my Bonvoy number is on the bill then why isn't there a feature in the billing software that prevents internet charges? Because it benefits the business if I don't notice ;-)

Otherwise this is a perfect location and beautiful property in walking distance to many of downtown Phoenix's great restaurants (Arrogant Butcher, Pizzeria Bianco), sports venues (Chase field and Footprint Center), the convention center, science museum, and others!

Hello PejorativeSaint, We appreciate you choosing us and providing valuable feedback about your stay. We are delighted to know our location was perfect for your needs. We hope the Imagine Dragons concert was a great time for you and your family! However, the erroneous billing of internet was an oversight made by our associates, and we are pleased you could alert us to this issue. For now, we hope you will accept our apologies for that oversight. We hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with the outstanding and seamless experience you should always expect from us! Hotel Management

First visit here. They are under a renovation and things are disjointed for sure. You come in the lower level and either have to take the elevator for escalator to the next floor , then walk a bit to a large room where they have the temporary front desk. The concierge lounge is not open due to renovations.

However the location was a short walk to the convention center where i was working while there and plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from as well.

The property has a restaurant and bar on site, it is also temporary and was very loud with the music playing in the bar area. Not a pleasant experience. The food was okay.

Within the next week or so after my visit the new front desk was to be opened where you would enter form parking or getting dropped off from a taxi or ride share which will be much more convenient.

The room was very comfortable and updated as would be expected from a higher level Marriott property. The large television was nice and has an awesome pivot system making watching in bed excellent!

I will give this place another shot next year after all the renovations are done. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

Stayed at this property on a business trip for 2 nights this week along with two other members of my team (separate rooms). Although the hotel is undergoing some renovation, two of our three rooms were not very clean. I was in room 645 and, although it appeared to have been renovated, the floors were filthy, the toilet dispenser was not secured properly to the wall such that it almost did not hold the roll, and the closet had almost no room to hang anything (maybe it was because the room was at the end of the hall and another member of our team with a renovated room had plenty of room to hang clothes in the closet?). The other team member had a none renovated room that also had extremely dirty floors. Finally, we had dinner Monday night in their makeshift restaurant and it too more than 2 hours for 3 of us to get 2 salads and a piece of salmon. All of this for almost $400/night each.

Given that they did not clean the room in the first place, I called down for the extra 500 points to not have housekeeping the next day and upon check-out, they had no record of this in their system.

I relayed the concern about the dinner that evening and the two of us with dirty rooms mentioned it at check-out - no so much as an apology in either case.

We would definitely expect more for almost $400/night as there are other options that would likely better value our patronage.

The Sheraton is a beautiful hotel. The decor, atmosphere , and staff were all pleasant. I was especially impressed by the understated elegance of the lobby. It is on par with some of the world class Sheraton properties (Tel Aviv, Stockholm, Frankfurt).

Food and beverage were highly problematic. I had counted on a "club" for breakfast and evening snacks. Despite the web site, there was no such club. Indeed, only the lobby bar was open, and it has an extremely limited menu. Most of the nearby restaurants were closed as well.

Most Bonvoy properties offer a choice of "welcome" amenities to Platinum members: breakfast, food and beverage credit, or extra points. I was informed that the Sheraton "does not do that." It was the first time I had come across this at a Bonvoy property. If the restaurants are closed, the pool is closed, the lounge doesn't exist, they might want to reconsider their policy.

The room itself was spacious, immaculately clean, with a pleasant view. The bed and bedding were comfortable, as were the couches and chairs. It was blissfully quiet.

I had to use a car on this trip, and it was a breeze. Parking was immediately next to the entrance, and it was about half the cost of other hotel parking.

The hotel did not indicate when the pool, restaurants, and lounge will reopen. I look forward to another visit once these services are reinstated.

Solid hotel, Marriott managed. Friendly front desk, concierge. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and television amazing (even more enormous in the bar area downstairs). Elevators require use of room key, which is good and wifi works throughout the hotel. The minus points: food options really limited and not great at that, no room service at all and very little in the direct area, other than very average Japanese restaurant in mostly empty mall across the street (nice new Acai place though). Loud music and terrible live acoustic music in pretty lounge/bar/lobby area at night. Next door to mostly ASU - rest is very hot, very empty downtown. Shower in room barely worked, but nice body wash/shampoo. Cleaning of rooms is 'every two days' - really? And the postal workers convention during our stay was loud!

Check-in had 28 people in line large convention crowd checking in, use the app to check in and get key to room. App key is slow and hard to use.

There are a lot of no's. No pool, no executive lounge, no restaurant, no upgrades for Bonvoy.

Breakfast is grab and go long lines starting 6:00 a.m.

At the bar in the evening very friendly staff at the desk doing the best I can staff at the grab and go doing the best they can.

Like most large hotels these days not enough help, if and when to get the amenities opened back up this will be a gorgeous hotel. The room was comfortable, quiet well appointed.

We stayed during the labor day weekend and were in for a surprise since there was an anime convention and the hotel was hosting some of the events. I have to admit it admirable of how they handled it while it was so crowded. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. I understand the covid and everything else, however it was when the convention left. The housekeeping is done every other day, which way more than in some other hotels, however when they got to our room at 5:30pm and mind you at this point the hotel was already empty, this was the worst time. We spent the whole day out and about and came into the room to shower and change after the 106 degrees weather and the pool to get ready for our dinner. So we asked them to come back in no more than 30 minutes and were actually out of the room in 15. Guess what, they never came back. While I understand that we could have requested extra housekeeping through the app, but when we got back after dinner was kind of late. All the other staff that we interacted with at the hotel were super friendly and nice.

Bonvoy membership means nothing at this property, no upgrades. Yes the price for room per night doubled since August. The difference is the pool is open now. They still only have grab and go breakfast and the line starts at 6:00 a.m. on-site restaurant is not open yet. The executive lounge is not open already.

The room is clean and comfortable pool is heated and opens early.

I was there for 3 days I did get real deal room cleaned one day.

The staff is friendly and nice and insist that everything will be open starting next week of course doesn't do me any good.

Hello billn635, Thank you for choosing our hotel for your recent stay. While we thank you for your recognition of our friendly service, we regret the issues you encountered and apologize for anything other than an exceptional experience. As with most cities, certain times of the year are busier and command higher rates; however, we do make every effort to be priced competitively. Additionally, please know that upgrades are based solely on availability, and we regret there was not one available when you arrived. We are working to ensure this does not continue to be an issue for our loyal travelers, so we hope you will accept our apologies. Lastly, we apologize for any inconvenience or frustration some of our closures and hours of operation may have caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these challenging times. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to host you in the future; we are sure you will see improvement. For now, we wish you safe travels and a wonderful day. Hotel Management
