The sign out front says this is a Knights Inn (Not Payless) but the address is the same. We flew into AZ a day early. No other hotels within 20 miles of Sky Harbor were available. When checking in, we were asked if we wanted the remote control for a 20 dollar deposit - that should have been our clue...

HotWire selected this hotel for me. And it sucks. The Lamps had no shades. There was no toilet paper. Only 2 bars of soap in the bath. All the towel had burn marks from cigarettes. The bathroom door was broken and smashed from being forced. The carpeting was frayed at edges with staples that cut my bare feet. Drug addicts...

There were a couple of prostitutes walking around and drug addicts begging for money. It is located in a scary neighborhood with a state pen across the street. PAY MORE and stay somewhere else. The door frame was cracked from an obvious break in. The TV didn't work.

This is the unsafest area, dirty rooms, no amenities... it is like the Bates Motel from a horror film. The day we arrived, no towels or soap were stocked in the room. Room wasn't that clean, found worms too! Sheets had holes. There were alot of bums hanging around outside, and we felt really unsafe at all the shady characters...

Needed a cheap place to stay for one night after arriving in Phoenix on a late flight. Didn't see any of the shady characters mentioned by previous reviewers and didn't experience any bed bugs however, there was the lovely surprise of a previous guest's dirty laundry. Avoided the pile of unwashed clothes (including underwear-gross!) and left early the next day.

Now I know the reviews on this motel are poor, but you must consider the price you are paying. The room we had was on the top floor of two. The price reflects what you get. The room was very tired the surface of the bed side table still had sticky drink marks on it and there was only one...

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE!!! This place should not even be considered a hotel. Rooms are awful, bed cover filthy, sheets had holes. Police came and it was still day time! Stayed long enough to find another place to stay.

We stayed here for the nice cheap price but should of known why. Dirty rugs and the cleaning service is bad. Towels ripped and bad stained. Daily service was bad. 2 days and our bed was not cleaned and garbage piled up and no toilet paper and bad towels. We got a diaper for a wash rag. We told the...

I was pretty freaked out when I realized I had booked a "blind rate" on Hotwire that ended up being in such a sketchy part of town (right near the prison) with such horrible reviews! And with my plane delayed for hours, I did not arrive till 2:30 a.m.! It helped that I called multiple times to inform the office...
