This hotel's location is easily accessible via the Valley Metro, and conveniently located/visible from Washington/Central Station (this hotel is the first building you see after departing the train). Heading eastbound, however, requires a slightly longer walk, as the closest eastbound station is the Jefferson/First station. The hallways outside of the guest rooms, as well as the guest rooms themselves, have... More

Let's just talk about service in this review, since you can learn about the facility itself from other reviews. - Good customer service is vital to a hotel's ensuring repeat business, but GREAT service is rare and unexpected that can better distinguish a place that provides a good night sleep to one that provides their guests a great experience. I hope I have a opportunity to return once the renovations are complete. The lobby is very impressive as it is. My room was large and comfortable and the service was excellent. The lounge on the 19th floor was the best part of my stay. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. A scrambled egg dish, bacon... More

This is a great business class hotel. You are ground zero downtown. The light rail is a very short walk out the door. The rooms are clean and the beds provide a good sleep. There is a cafe and room service until midnight. The staff is friendly; and there is a pool and workout room. Note - the hotel is... More

I stayed here recently for access to convention center. Great room accommodations. The staff was extremely helpful in all circumstances, whether it concerns food, transportation, or questions of a general nature. In general, Phoenix is a friendly, laid back city. They will be adding a Starbucks, as renovations are still in process, and it would have been convenient to grab... More

While there are still renovations happening all over, it was a great place for downtown. Very centrally located... the hotel staff was exceptional - so helpful and kind! The parking was valet only - $30 a day. So not super great; but for central downtown, it is definitely reasonable. Would definitely recommend it!

Just returned from a two day event in Phoenix. Stayed at the Renaissance because of their commitment to excellence AND the military discount was huge, not to mention when we checked in Kelsey upgraded us to a king suite at no additional charge due to our rewards / loyalty membership. Customer service was top notch...no request was left undone. Very... More

Good hotel with quiet rooms. Nice views from upper floors. Clean and well kept but a bit older, my room had been updated nicely. Enjoyed the short walk to restaurants and historic locations. The science center is a short walk and you can visit the stadium as well.

I have stayed at this hotel many many times. In fact, it is the one I check first for availability when I'm traveling to Phoenix. It is located in the middle of downtown which means you can pretty much walk to anywhere downtown from there in 5-10 minute including the arena and ballpark. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, the... More

Only here for one day but this was a very friendly, professional hotel. The rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable. Location was great, walking distance to stadiums, great restaurants, and shops. 10 mins from airport by taxi. Would recommend, room rates reasonable.
