I love a historic hotel, but sometimes they can be a little too historic if you know what I mean. Not Hassayampa Inn! It has all the charm without the old mustiness old buildings can often have. This place is a great stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. I felt they all had such pride in the hotel. Our... More

Very lovely inn with a festive Christmas atmosphere! We ate at the hotel and enjoyed great food and a friendly welcome, terrific food with excellent prices. Great shopping and restaurants all around. Two to three days are needed to experience just the downtown. We took a drive through Jerome to Sedona. Next time we go to Prescott, we will stay... More

What a wonderfully old and charming hotel. We were graciously greeted by Julia at the front desk and assisted with our luggage in an old elevator that was manned by a staff member. We booked the King Suite with a great view from our corner room. Allison, from the restaurant was the kindest person we've ever met in a hotel... More

A group of us decided to put down our spoons and treat ourselves to the Thanksgiving Buffet in the Peacock Room. Have been there for dinner before and very satisfied with the quality of dinner and service, BUT felt that this was just so "buffet diner style", not classy at all. It is a grand hotel and restaurant typically but... More

Very friendly staff. This old dame has held up well. Dining experience for dinner and breakfast excelled expectations. Location is perfect for exploring the historic district. Lovely shops. This hotel will be on my repeat list. But, please change out the bar bourbon!!!

The people that work in this hotel are wonderful! We had a suite and I'm glad we did, I think a standard room would be pretty tight. Beds are comfortable. The only downside is the noise level. I guess historic doors are thin. You can hear doors closing all the way down the hallway. I would go back again and... More

This place is an original condition hotel from the 1920s, all the way down to the doors on the rooms. Even the elevator is the operator run original. Very comfortable, friendly and safe. 1/2 block from downtown. I'd stay again.

We stayed here for two nights while we were visiting Prescott, AZ and doing some hiking. The location is very convenient to the downtown area; we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The room was so comfortable and quiet. When we checked in I asked the bellhop where the ice machine was and he offered to get us a small... More

We stayed at the Hassayampa Inn for 3 nights to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary and loved every minute. We stayed in a suite and there was lots of room, it was squeeky clean, with a fridge, microwave and comfortable furniture. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was elegant and delicious. It takes you back in time to the... More

charming cozy hotel in downtown prescott just steps from Wiskey Roy. Amazing old building with stories to go with it reminds you of days past. Decor and lobby area are amazing next to the bar for a glass of wine or spirts. Stories are as wonderful as this hotel filled with charm just like the vintage elevator or antique furniture... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Known as the Grand Dame of Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn was built as a luxury Hotel in 1927 to entice Phoenix tourists to flee the summer heat. Nostalgic elegance with a restored 1920's style lobby, little has changed since the Inn first opened its doors 81 years ago, but every modern amenity you'd expect a 21st century hotel to offer, including high speed wireless internet. Enjoy world class cuisine in the ultra-fashionable, yet comfortable, Peacock Dining Room. Live jazz is frequent in the leisurely Cowboy Bar. Prescott's world-famous Courthouse square is a mere block away with endless boutiques and antique stores. ... more   less
