After room change, had a very nice stay. Requested a ground floor room when I made reservation due to my difficulty climbing stairs. When we arrived we discovered that our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. At first they said no other...More

Serious misrepresentation of quality. Rooms are very run down. Not very clean. My son's dorm room is bigger, cleaner and better renovated. Clearly they don't put any money into the maintenance of the rooms.
The room had a good view of ponderosa pines and a busy road. Its location just outside of Prescott made us feel as if we were in the country. We liked our room on the second floor because of the views and its ampleness, which...More

Don't know if they have trails that are accessible right from their parking lot, but there are numerous trails all around Prescott since you are in the middle of the Prescott National Forest. Stop by their office at 344 Cortez St. in Prescott to pick up a forest service map that will show all the ATV trails in the area. Also, the recreation use permit referred to in "tkittymomma's" answer is available on line through the State Land Department, not BLM. Have fun!
