We stayed two nights at safford RV resort. It was great. The accommodations were perfect. We got showers and did laundry. The staff was so friendly. They fixed a meal for the entire campgrounds. We loved it there. We will go back next winter and stay longer.
Located near the base of a mountain range, large spots available for our big rig. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Felt welcomed here. Most sites are long term but we found the people we interacted with warm and open. The manager Brent went out of his way to assure we were taken care of. There is a trail to the mountains that you must take if you have a 4x4. Take the road out of the park at the office and make a left, turn right at the round about and a Left directly after the junk yard onto a dirt road. There is a reservoir at the first gate and if you travel further (4x4) you will come to a gate that you cannot pass and that is where you park and head down to the waterfall. It is a beautiful little spot. I would stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you Brent and staff for the pizza night and the warm welcome. Pool and hot tub are open all the time. He was also able to get us parked next to our parents for the duration of our visit. My only complaint is the occasional road noise later in night as it seem people like to drive fast on the back road, but it is not a consistent noise like off a freeway.…
Stayed here for a couple of months while working in the area. the park is nice and has everything you’d want, the one star is only cause I can’t leave a zero star and is solely based on the management. We left on April 10th due to work and was told that we could get that month prorated cause we just paid the rent on the first. The lady at the office was not competent enough and didn’t know how to use the system to refund us our $150 security deposit or how to refund us for the remaining portion of the month. We been going back and forth with the owner/manager for almost two months now and we still have not received a penny back.
Left messages three days in a row wanting to make reservations. My phone calls were never returned. Expect better from people in the hospitality business. Located a different RV park who answered promptly and we scheduled our visit with them
Clean beyond expectations. Staff extremely helpful, courteous and caring. We spent a week there in a great spot that had the sun to our back in the afternoon so we had plenty of shade despite the lack of trees. Did a few day trips away from the area and toward the end of our stay we had the pleasure of nearly two days of much needed rain. Graveled sites have plenty of space and a cement pad. One disappointment was no picnic tables. Rates are extremely affordable and the free wi-fi worked very well except during the rain storms, which can be expected to an extent. There was also free cable that we did not connect to.
