The walls are TOO thin, and we could here every cell call, alarm, TV show that or “wall neighbors” experienced. Completely overpriced for the quality of single rooms; rude check-in staff, who tried to pressure me into a room/suite upgrade. Pools, restaurants, and golf course...More
We came out to visit a friend and his family, he put us up in this lovely hotel close to his home. It is lovely and very relaxing, no need to even leave the building if you so desire, everything you want is here. Well,...More

I was actually quite disappointed. I haven’t stayed in a Westin in a while, but over the years I have stayed in several. I expected the signature Heavenly Bed and lovely appointments. The bed was okay. This property, as vast as it is, is beautiful...More

Went here for a conference and was really pleased! The breakfast staff in the Monday Club restaurant are absolutely delightful. The rooms are cozy and what's not to love about the heavenly bed and heavenly shower?

We have already voiced our displeasure about the self-parking. There is absolutely no reason for a self-parking charge at this hotel. Parking is RARELY a problem in this area. And, yes, we absolutely are going to consider not booking next year. This hotel is one of our top five favorites that we regularly book as a Summer Staycation. We were already getting tired of all the fees and extra costs - will book our other favorites next summer. No idea if it will make a difference, but we can easily pick and choose our Staycation spots.

I believe there is a shuttle from the villas to the hotel but the walk isn't bad (as long as you are hydrated, have a sun hat and don't plan on schleping a lot of stuff). Also because the resort is so expansive, if you forget something in your hotel room it may take you just as song to walk back to your villa as it would your room. The villas are more spacious and quiet. The pool there is nice and there are plenty of activities in the afternoons for the kids. The hotel has far more amenities, conveniences like places to eat, grab quick snacks drinks and buy more sunblock when you run out but again not too long of a walk away from the villas. Having said that I would likely stay at the hotel and request a room near the elevator closest to the pool and lobby (as you know this can't be guaranteed upon booking). As far as the kids club, book it now. We couldn't get our little ones in a couple nights in advance (during dinner time). I think it's popular and fun. Enjoy, it's a great place but be prepared for a crowd on the weekends.
