Stayed four nights. Wished we didn’t gaff bee to leave. Room was spotless and smelled great when we arrived. We did not have a room with sunset View but we didn’t mind. We took it all in from outside patio which was never too crowded. Bed was cozy and decor was updated. Service was spectacular. The gardens throughout the grounds are a real treat. Each area it’s own unique and special place to enjoy. While we did see families with children staying at the property, it’s my opinion that this place is most suitable for adults. We will be coming back for sure!
We came up from Phoenix for a little get away and were amazed by the friedly, cozy, family feel to this lodge. Everyone was friendly there, We had a four year old boy who got up early and would love to take walks around the grounds. He got to feed the Koi fish, he loved the pool. The gardens and decoration all around were beautiful. It's a hidden treasure and we'll definitely be going back our next stay up in Sedona.
There is plenty of parking close to the room. The setting is small buildings with multiple rooms, a few of which have decks and awesome views. The property is elevated and there is an area available where you may go to enjoy the view if you did not opt for one of the premium rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. There were plenty of towels available for our party of four. The staff were all helpful and friendly. There is no onsite restaurant and you must drive down the mountain to get to one. It is a trip of 1-2 miles depending on what type of food that you prefer. There are some snacks and sundries available in the lobby.
The perfect place to enjoy the scenery and attractions of Sedona. This place is great. Not exactly a lodge but a series of buildings with 4 units in most. Definitely spring for a rim view room. We had a nice little deck where we could watch the sunset or the stars. Updated spacious room with a nice bathroom. Convenient parking. The front desk staff was so friendly. When I inquired about local restaurants the guy gave me a printed list with his personal favorites highlighted. The grounds are a botanical garden, with many plants labeled - beautiful. The pool is a little small for the demand but the water temp was perfect ... felt so good at the end of a day of hiking/touring. It's a short walk to the Airport Mesa Grill for breakfast. Impossible to get a dinner res there but breakfast service is efficient and the food is very good (try the breakfast tacos). Have I mentioned the wine bar at the lodge? - sit on the covered patio with your wine or beer or get a to-go cup to take to the pool or your room. Ideal spot for your Sedona vacation. …
This place was one of the highlights of our trip in Sedona. We had hiked continuously over two weeks in Utah and the Grand Canyon, and this was a restorative place for us on our trip. We had a room on the edge, where the sunsets were amazing from our deck. The room was well laid out, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The pool was clean and refreshing, the botanical grounds are beautiful, the bar area was relaxing. The lodge is above all the hustle and bustle of the city. I can't say enough about Sky Ranch Lodge.
