The view of the mountain changing colors all day from the fresh water pool and lawn chairs in the green areas was refreshing and romantic. Happy hour each evening with very good wine enhanced the relaxing atmosphere. A new chef and menu made dining a good experience. Nice rooms, pleasant staff. A very enjoyable 3 days.

My daughter and I were travelling cross-country from Cape Cod Mass to LA, and the only place my daughter wanted to go to was Sedona and after 1 night stays at hotels and getting up early each morning to continue the trek with a dog and a Uhaul trailer, we were both looking forward to spending two nights somewhere.....the ride...

Amazingly, I didn't actually have a room at this resort, this is how amazing the staff was to non-guests. I will definitely book here on my next visit. We walked up to the lobby of Amara because, years ago, I remembered walking in that area along the creek and we were looking to hike. We asked if that was an...

One of the best experiences I have ever had at any hotel. The whole stay was pleasant. From the valet car service to the wine bottle poolside service everything was first class. The room was clean and very tidy. The bathroom was in great shape. No complaints at all. I highly recommend staying here when in Sedona.

Upon arrival and departure, the staff could not have been more gracious and helpful. The view from the dining terrace and pool is spectacular and you could spend the evening looking out and enjoying the red rock. The spa is in the middle of town and a car is not necessary. There is transportation to get you from the hotel...

Just got back from an AZ family trip - think Griswalds at the Grand Canyon - and lived our stay at Amara. The family room was large (more like 2 rooms) - over 700 sq ft and placed just to the left of the pool. Kids loved hoping from room to the beautiful pool - with views of re red...

I'll start by saying, the staff and management are friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and is adjacent to Oak Creek. Get a glass of wine and sit in a swing next to the creek. The Saltrock restaurant is a must, good food, great staff and a view like no other. We plan on returning in the spring.

RadioBob, We appreciate the kind words about the team… they truly are amazing. Relaxing out in the courtyard with a glass of wine or any beverage is a “can’t miss.” Chef Massimo is thrilled you tried our new menu and experienced SaltRock. Thank you for sharing your experience. We look forward to your next visit. Warm regards, Patrick Gaskin General...

We live in Phoenix area (just moved here) and our 10 year old granddaughter was visiting from WA and we wanted to take her to the Grand Canyon and I always wanted to stay in Sedona, so I researched like a mad woman trying to find the "IT" spot for us to cool off (Sedona at least 10-15 degree's cooler...

Deevague, Hearing that the Amara was the “IT spot” made me blush a little...that is certainly high praise! The shout out to Orlando and the entire team is greatly appreciated. They are true ROCK STARS. You are spot on in regards to Sedona’s proximity to the Phoenix area making it an easy trip to escape the summer heat or even...

Amara Resort Amara resort isn’t quite what you’d expect from the photos. Unlike a lot of Sedona properties, it’s not surrounded by the beautiful landscapes but rather, tucked into a small canyon directly off the main shopping drag down a steep hill. Tucked away, all views are out the back and they are spectacular with several of the classic Red...
