The place has mostly positive reviews but I am not sure how people can ignore the obvious bug and roach infestation which is a big problem of this hotel! We wanted to enjoy the resort however we couldn't even make it to our room due to roaches literally everywhere on the property grounds including stairs leading to the reception area and in the hotel walkway hallways leading from the elevator to the rooms. I have never seen this kind of infestation before in my life! I don't know if this problem is visible during the day since we arrived late in the evening. But it is definitely there at night. As per the hotel staff, the roaches "own it" there, especially during mansoon season. When we asked if the roaches get into the rooms, the staff member hesitated to answer. However, we didn't even make it to the room because we couldn't get past the hallway full of roaches! This property needs pest control ASAP and overall does not look like a 4 star hotel or resort. We left and had to look for another accommodation elsewhere in the middle of the night. The hotel didn't even bother to issue any apology or a refund. All I got was a cancelation email which stated that no refund would be given since I hadn't cancel 48 hrs prior. Shame on this hotel and its unsanitary conditions! My child was so scared and told me that the whole experience was like a nightmare or a horror movie. I would give this place zero ratings if I could...

We came to Sedona for a nice vacation and chose to stay in this hotel They are renovating it so the restaurant is not open and certain issues are going on There is a blonde lady at the front desk who’s very unhelpful. She doesn’t care to offer service to the guests but prefers to spend her time doing her own things. Just be aware of the delays in getting service. Also, they will kit make the rooms unless specifically requssted

Drove into Sedona for an overnight stay. I had a room booked at this property. I called the night before to verify, and everything was fine. When I called day of to see when I could check in, my reservation was gone, and the front desk gentleman accused me of lying to him about having a reservation, which is so strange. This resulted in me spending hours on the phone in a local coffee shop on the phone with my credit card company as they tried to rebook me in another nearby hotel on the fly. Absolutely terrible experience.

Even though the hotel is going through renovation the staff and rooms are excellent. The bartender Paul is the best. He makes a mean old fashen best I have had throughout the US. The front desk staff were accommodating and made sure we had a quiet room in the best location. We were only there or 1 night but it was great.

Enjoyed our stay with family for a birthday. Rooms were clean, large & beds very comfortable. Rooftop terrace is awesome. The renovations did not disturb us at all. Would use this hotel again in the future.
