We just wanted a clean place to stay for a quick overnight in Sedona and found a gem in the Sugar Loaf Lodge. The motel is older, but the rooms were clean, the bed was in good shape, the bedding and linens were clean and crisp. There was a small continental breakfast - think whole fruit, yogurt and pre-packaged muffins,...

A very friendly happy place to stay. Those the rooms were basic, the atmosphere was good and the beds comfortable. Found the location great for our hikes and close to stores. I would stay here again as the price was reasonable and the beds comfortable....

We stayed 6 days for our base in Sedona. We had a quiet unit at the back of the lodge (or motel). Fridge, microwave and use of the big BBQ. We were greeted by lovely bird songs each morning. It is plain, comfortable, affordable and has good WiFi.

Sugar Loaf Lodge is an older budget motel on the main thoroughfare. It is a place to sleep, not to hang out. With that in mind, The beds were comfortable, pillows extra firm, showers hot with good pressure and all expected amenities provided (soap, shampoo, hair dryer) and I believe some rooms come with small fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast...

This lodge is a real charmer. Good wifi and a great value. It is an older style motel and does not have a chain style feel at all. I found the room clean and comfortable. the parking is right in front of your room and very handy

Sugar Loaf Lodge offers basic motel accommodations on a busy commercial street. Nonetheless it is quiet, clean, economical and convenient. I skipped their "breakfast" which might just be adequate to grab and take in the car. Instead the front desk recommended the Coffee Pot Restaurant, just a few doors away, which offers anything you could want. The service at Sugar Loaf...

Super pleasant stay in Sedona. This place is a diamond in the rough. Well located, a stones throw from "uptown", while handy to everything. Rooms are very clean, simple, and comfortable. Loved refrig/micro! (Great to heat up/ keep cool items). Parking is a breeze, and really appreciated the easy access to my room. Breakfast is very "continental " ( coffee,...

We have been staying here the last 10 years or so.always excellent but once in a while so and so.This past Sept we stayed here 3 days terrible and won't be back. We were in room # 7 an end room. We noticed it was changed from a King to a Queen and sofa bed which made room much smaller...

My husband and I drove up to Sedona in March for some sightseeing and the famous Pink Jeep tour and needed a place for one night. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and the Sugar Loaf Lodge was perfect! Nothing fancy but situated in a great location surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room was very clean, free...

This motel isn't anything fancy, but it had everything we needed. The rooms are dated, but the cleaning crew is there everyday to to clean and get your fresh towels. Thor was great. He asked what we were visiting for, and gave us tips about the area and hiking. The breakfast in the morning was juice, coffee, fruit, granola bars,...
