My family and I booked a vacation at Hilton Bell Rock Sedona. I booked the room through Booking.com. We then decided to go to a Hilton in Flagstaff instead. Neither Hilton or Booking.com will refund our $2600.00 and the cancelation was guaranteed free if canceled by a certain date. We canceled 20 days ahead of that date. I am now in dispute resolution with my credit card company. No one, and I mean no one at Hilton Bell Rock has lifted a finger to help us. Both company's blame the other for being the responsible party for the refund. At the end of the day Hilton bares the responsibly. If not, they shouldn't be doing business with a 3rd party vendor for booking their rooms. Bell Rock Hilton is crap. Stay away.
They have a lot more amenities than we were able to use during a one night stay but the kids and husbands loved the pool area, we loved the rooms, and the mattresses were perfect. We loved the area and have decided to visit again and will absolutely be staying here for a week on the next go around. Great location, great views, wonderful staff.
I would like to start by saying the management team we interacted with at various times (restaurant and front desk) were exceptional! A+ to all of you! Also, Ana did a great job with a foot reflexology at the spa! The size of the our room was definitely a huge plus! On a very strange, and definitely positive note, one of the guys blowing dirt out of the parking lot from the storm the night prior was blowing dirt off of my car when I walked out in the morning. I thought this was really funny and very thoughtful! My wife and I both agree that this was on the lower side of what we have experienced from Hilton in terms of actual quality of the building. The lobby and restaurant areas both feel nice, but as soon as you take a turn down a hallway, you feel like you are revisiting the 80's. The appearance of the dark and dingy hallways and rooms is surprising compared to how bright and beautiful the lobby is. I can tell that there was a mineral/gemstone theme going on around the hotel...these photos/canvases are not colorful or lively. Please update this to have some really nice canvases printed of the Sedona area instead. The Marriott did this and it was much more pleasing to the eye and felt more immersive. I am even more surprised at the quality of the beds, sheets, comforter, and pillows. Any hotel/resort which is trying to provide luxury accommodations should be using sheets which are high enough quality to be quiet when moving them around. Any time we moved around in bed or even adjusted our heads on pillows, the loud noise would wake us up. Also, the pillows were not comfortable in addition to this. I recommend to hotel management to invest in higher quality, quieter sheets, pillows and comforters. Doing this one thing will be the difference between my family coming back here again or not coming back again. We did not get quality sleep either night. I would also like to recommend to management to invest in 4-6 clipper creek electric car chargers. The Marriott has them and it was much more convenient to have those attached to the hotel rather than charge at the Tesla Urban Chargers around the corner from the hotel. Between the quality of the rooms and the car chargers in the parking lot, I will pick the Marriott over the Hilton next time even though this Hilton had a better pool and dining experience.…
Do not request a room near golf course he will be woken up by the sound of a lawnmower at 5 AM.Location is great but For a two night stay of 140,000 points it’s not worth saying they’re.Every morning your walk as you exit out you will walk through your hallway and find dirty towels dirty Dishes from room service trash throughout the hallways. We started our day at 9 AM and came back to our room around five and everything was still in the hallways.
There is not enough housekeeping staff. The rooms are cleaned late and the hallways are gross. The whole place needs a renovation. Outdated furniture and an antiquated HVAC system (which caused the entire third floor to hum like we were being invaded by aliens). There was no dog area. There is no real room service- you have to walk down to the restaurant to pick up your food. Staff was friendly and views were fantastic
