Yarrabin is a 3-4 hr drive from Sydney or Canberra. The attraction is horse-riding in a rural environment. The property has sheep & cattle not to mention countless kangaroos. Accommodation is cabin style with en-suite, most have a balcony. Wholesome (plentiful) meals are provided. BYO drinks. There's a pub at nearby O'Connell about 6km by road for those who need...

It’s a lovely drive into the mountains. If you are heading that way, stop in Leura, even if just to stretch your legs. It’s a quaint little town with a main street dotted with shops, cafes and restaurants. We popped into Leura Gourmet for lunch. They have a beautiful view of the mountains from the dining room and it’s casual...

Wonderful place, I am going back as soon as I can. Welcoming people, great accommodation (including very popular pool). Horses all in very good condition, a wide range and obvious effort to match horse and rider. Rides were also interesting, well organised and great fun. Thanks to all at Yarrabin for a fantastic weekend!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of staying at Yarrabin for one of their Adults Only (aka “Kid Free”) weekends, with a couple of extra days added on. I was quite nervous as this was my first visit and I’d had some unpleasant experiences with other horse riding holidays/establishments over the years, resulting in some bad falls and...

3rd visit for our daughter on the school holiday horse camps. Good mixture of kids who love horse riding or want to learn how to ride. Rooms are basic but comfortable with a bathroom. Kids share during the camps but are good for families at other times. Food is good home cooking and plentiful. Trails are scenic and the gymkhana...

We were @ Yarrabin for 4 nights recently and had a great time. We traveled all the way from Hong Kong to get away from it all and get on horse back during our winter. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the riding and the variety among the horses provided by Annie, whose expert eye was always looking to match the right...

Daughter (15) attended the school holiday camp for kids for the first time and loved it. She didn't know a soul but soon made friends with other like-minded girls and boys, many who have been many times before. The rooms are basic but adequate. The owners and staff were friendly and great with the kids, well able to assist the...

Have just returned from a fantastic weekend at Yarrabin. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, the food was just right and the accommodation great. The riding was fab, the staff catered for everyone, competent riders were able to canter through the bush , whilst less experienced riders were helped to progress and by the end of the...
