When we arrived we were greeted by Shortie, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until the time we left. We only stayed one night and found the hotel quiet. We were away from the main road and around the back. There was a young family and door near our room but we heard no noise....

They have it all, rooms, history, book store, gift store and a staff that knows all about Springerville. I did not know John Wayne had a ranch near there and was so grateful to get to know more. The rooms are quite nice - They once were smoking rooms and a trace lingers but it may be from them trying...

Thank you so much for the nice review. We are always happy to share local information with our guests. Glad you liked hearing about John Wayne and his ranch here. Actually , many, but not all, of our rooms have never been smoking rooms. Unfortunately some smokers do request non-smoking rooms and then smoke in them. All moteliers, including us,...

This is an old facility, and the rooms smell old. Maybe they were formerly smoking rooms and that is what is lingering; maybe it's just the old motel room smell that permeates everything. No, the rooms were not spotless. No one, especially me, likes to see other people's hair on the bathroom floors. The walls are thin so crying babies...

What a terrific little hotel. No breakfast but wonderful coffee in the morning and wonderful staff... The rooms were exceptionally clean and very large we stayed in room 152. Quiet and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and treated you like family. Will for sure be going back, McDonald's is about a block away and the Rexall General store is...

Rooms are clean, facility is well maintained however the toilet could not flush The rooms are quite. The TV is small The room key looks like a computer punch card. To open the door you had to insert the card leave it in the door until the door opens. To open the door I had to push very hard. I...

I stay here every time I visit this area. The staff is wonderful. The rooms a bit used, but clean. The bathroom spotless. We stayed in one of the suites this time and found it exactly what we needed to accommodate 3 friends.

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The beds were okay, but our room smelled like cats had spent some time there. Beyond the smell, the rooms were clean, and the water pressure was good in the shower.

We stayed here in April 2014. Some of the recent reviews at that time had been negative, but found a very spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, rustic and "just right" place for what was actually the place spent our wedding night. The first of the hotels we stayed at on our honeymoon-on-a-(rather tight)-budget. :) I would DEFINITELY stay there again and...

We were so glad to host you on your honeymoon. You joined the ranks of quite a number of special folks who have spent part or all of their honeymoon here, enjoying our simple comfort and exploring our beautiful White Mountain surroundings. Glad you enjoyed your stay here. Thanks for the nice recommendation.

Came to this area to do some family research and happened upon Reed's Lodge in Springerville, AZ. Since it is a 5 generation operation, I decided my daughter and I would give it a try. Clean and friendly and the price was great. We were welcomed and made to feel right at home. The lobby has a gift shop and...

We stayed at Reed's Lodge for three nights in July 2015. We absolutely loved it. The owners and all staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great. We wanted to stay in a Ponderosa room which is sort of the higher end room, but they were full, so instead we stayed in one of the "50's style vintage"...
