My two days stay checked all of the boxes for my business trip to Phoenix this week at the AC hotel in Tempe. I was given a great room upon check-in and treated very politely and was able to accomplish everything I needed to during my brief stay. This was my second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area. The only thing I was disappointed about is the fact that they’re amazing breakfast buffet is no longer being offered due to COVID-19 sanitation regulations. I am hopeful that things will get back to normal because this was one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had and I hope to enjoy it again soon!
We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and this was our first trip since January 2020 due to the pandemic. We've only stayed at one other Autograph Collection property, Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, which incidentally I just realized I didn't review (BTW it was awesome). This did not disappoint. We arrived around 1am, as our flight had been delayed and the Front Desk Clerk was so friendly and efficient! We requested a room on a lower floor to avoid some of the airplane noise, since most hotels in Tempe are in the flight path and she assigned us to a 2nd floor king. She then explained that due to COVID-19, daily housekeeping wouldn't be available. She provided us with a written document which outlined the details and it stated that in room amenities could be requested if needed. Upon entering our room I was blown away by how clean it was, and I mean right down to the spotless TV remote! There was a small fridge which housed chilled glassware and complimentary bottled water. The shower was dual rainhead/handheld and was also sparkling clean. The bed linens were clean and crisp and the bed/pillows so comfy. There are no drawers but instead, a long padded bench on which to place luggage, which we actually prefer, as hotel drawers can become pretty gross over time. The gym was small but well equipped and the rooftop pool was lovely. We didn't dine at the hotel, but the bar area looked very nice. What stood out to us the most was every single time we passed the front desk, the Associate greeted us with a warm "hello" or "have a nice day". I asked one of them if they were fully staffed yet and he responded in a positive tone "not yet, but we're working to hire more people". I will say that when we called down for delivery of fresh towels, the Housekeeper was at our door three minutes later! My only reason for 4 stars, as opposed to 5 is that the walls are a bit thin and we could hear the guests in the next room conversing. Also not a fan of the $15 daily parking fee, although the hotel is in sort of a business complex. All in all, we would definitely return!…
This is my second stay here and this hotel is lovely. Immaculate room, lovely staff and beautiful pool on the roof. Crazy, comfy bed. It’s also super close to the airport which is great for a very short trip. Hopefully I’ll stay longer on my next visit.
I used to stay here weekly pre-Covid, this was my first trip back since March 2020 and I am happy to say that the post-Covid experience was as exceptional as my previous visits! The Front Desk staff are some of the best in the industry, especially Brittany and Tiffany! Though the buffet breakfast is sub-par (go to Romancing the Bean across the plaza), the dinners are AMAZING. My dinner favorites in order are: Steak, potatoes and asparagus Pasta and meatballs Flat bread (My associate swears by the salmon.) Don’t worry you can work off the food walking around the lake out the front door. Enjoy Tempe! Drew Cobb
Clean rooms, Freindly and knowledgable Staff. Work out room had sufficient equipment and pool area was large.. Nice area close to alot of different reastaraunts and shopping. Nice walking path besides a nice lake, and a chalengin hiking trail up the mountain adjacent to the property.
