My flight got canceled, ended up coming to stay here due to a last minute necessity. Yahaira and Linda helped me with suggesting local food to order, and helping me book a cab for the morning. THEY EVEN HAVE LAUNDRY ON SITE!!!!! These ladies helped turn my terrible evening into a great one where I could REST :D Thank you Yahaira and Linda !
This was my first time ever staying at an ALoft hotel. I was a little apprehensive since my stay was during the peak of COVID-19. However, the staff at this hotel implemented safety and sanitation measures that gave me peace of mind knowing that I was not at risk: No one who wasn’t staying there was allowed inside. Rooms sat for 3 days before being cleaned and occupied again by another guest. Everyone was required to wear a mask. As far as amenities go, I was also very impressed. My room was very cozy yet contemporary. My bed was super comfy. The sink and shower had a very modern design to them. AC worked great to keep the room a cool 71° during the 110° summer days in Phoenix. I also really liked how my TV was mounted on the wall towards the exterior of the building, greatly cutting down on noise escaping from my room while watching TV (as I’d imagine it is for other rooms as well). ALoft is now my favorite hotel chain — even above Marriott, Ramada, and Springhill Suites. I will definitely be staying at more ALofts in the future!…
Trying so hard to be hip and failing so miserably it’s laughable. Where to start - the entrance - bar on left with techno music blaring yet typically empty, ‘loungie’ (think velvet) chair/bench/couch combo blocking clear path to a mini reception desk - cool huh…room was ok but odd - again Marriott is trying so hard to be deemed cool it’s funny. The pool and fitness center was nice but their Peloton was the world’s saddest (it’s screen was missing yet there was no sign explaining why and when it would be repaired) I noted to front desk they knew nothing about initially. Courtesy and guest acknowledgment by staff, especially front desk was spotty at best and my room was never serviced for 3 days, nor was there a sign / tag to put on ones door to request - very odd.
Front desk was amazing. Fast and friendly check in. Rooms were clean. Has a great area out back to relax. Bar was cool. Snack bar area has a lot to choose from.would definitely be back. Price on the holiday was great
Very poor customer service from Fernando at the front desk. During the middle of our stay he add an additional room fees. And would contact the manager so I could speak with her. Very unprofessional. I've such good things about this brand, but I didn't receive that. Plus ac unit leaking in room, we reported it but never fixed
