Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. 1. They failed to let me know that they don’t clean the room every day… ok Covid.. fine… is it every other day? Every third day?? No!! On the 7th day? What kind of hotel does that?? 2. With cleaning every 7 days you would expect a spotless room… oh no… dirt, crumbs and water stains everywhere (see pictures) 3. What type of hotel doesn’t have Central AC? The room only has a window unit, which was probably installed in 1970. Every time it goes off makes the whole room tremble… I got awaken about 15 times as it turned off and on. The second night I got smarter and set the fan to always on to avoid it turning on and off… a little better but it still make as much noise as sleeping inside a moving train. Definitively not recommended!
Location is very convenient for PHX airport, ASU university, mall / eating places are nearby. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodated our request. Will consider this place for staying agin.
It is not fair for me-to comment on the hotel staff, maintenance, etc this soon after the pandemic so my comments are more general The rooms are large. Perfect for a family of four. Hotel is on the approach to the airport which was fun to watch and did not interrupt our sleep. Good value.
Had a decent stay at this SpringHill Suites for a couple of days visiting family. Got a great AAA rate of $79 on Saturday and Sunday, but it looked like rates shoot up during the week. Definitely need a car if you're staying here and plan to go anywhere in town, but that's standard for Phoenix. The bed was super comfortable and the room was a good size. I was especially pleased they had coffee 24/7 in the lobby, which a lot of hotels aren't doing right now "because of Covid." I believe they did a free breakfast as well, but I didn't make it down to see it. Was originally assigned a handicap accessible room when I checked in, and wasn't pleased I had to lug my stuff back downstairs to get a normal room like I had a booked, especially as a Bonvoy Gold member. They fixed it, but I don't know why the system assigned me the wrong room type in the first place.…
Outstanding hotel close to the airport. The room we stayed in was actually a suite with its own living area. The bed was fantastic,....as was the shower water pressure. My girlfriend used the pool area for swimming and tanning and was very happy. Also,..the free shuttle each way was prompt and professional. We could not have been happier with our stay, BUT,....keep in mind we got a ''weekend rate''.The rates midweek could be double or triple what we paid.
