Waterfall Villas is set in a very dense forest with paths to the waterfalls on the property. Very beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds very comfortable. It is nice and cool being in the forest.
My husband and I recently spent a week at Waterfall Villas for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! We are both vegan (I'm also gluten-free) and had the meals all-inclusive in addition to our room. Meals include breakfast with a juice, lunch with a...More

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a quite place to stay, and the Jade Spa Suite room was the best option, a really nice and private room! We have no complaints at all about the hotel, the waterfall within the place are amazing!
I wouldn't recommend staying longer than that. The owner made me and other guests feel like they were a burden to her with any request that was made. This was a good experience for a couple of days. The food was very good and the...More

Dear Guests, I apologize, we were very full in March, and I must have had an off day. I actually can't even imagine what you could have requested that I could not accommodate? Any hints would be most appreciated. Love and light, Fateh

Hi there. I can't say specifically if the hotel caters to young families or if there is an age limit on guests but I will say that Fateh is very responsive and prompt with her email communications. I suggest that if you haven't already, send an email to the address on her hotel website. She was great when I booked with her this past January...never had to wait around for a reply, that made it very easy to book the rest of the trip.
Hope this helps!

We came from the San Jose airport, we arranged for someone to pick us up and bring us to the resort. It was about 3 hours drive but we stopped along the way to see some sights. You could rent a car at the airport, but we just opted for the hotel to send someone to pick us up.

Hello! Yes! Guests have rented a car at the airport many many times and drove here to the Waterfall Villas. We recommend that you do this drive in the day, not only because it is a scenic drive, but also because signage is not that great nor street lights at night. You can also rent a car once you are here. When renting a car in Costa Rica the most important thing is to get a car from a name brand agency - hertz, avis, national, budget, and solid. A no-name agency will be very cheap and YES it is too good to be true. Guests that have done this have been stranded without any assistance. That is no way to spend a vacation :) Love & light, Fateh
