We went to this place because we read so much good things about it. We are really happy about the four days we spent there. Breakfast is very good the optional supper is fabulous and the fun part about the food is that everyone in the hotel sits at the same long table and can exchange information about their trip....

Our stay at the Finca Maresia was the highlight of our 4 weeks in Costa Rica. Arriving by boat added an extra dimension to the experience (pack light) which continued to be great for our 4 days there. Please read the other reviews - they are all good and exactly as we found it. Juan worked really hard and made...

All guests are eating the delicious meals from Juan on one big table, which gives you the great possibility to meet interesting people and to share travel-information. The food was delicious...

We stayed at the Finca Maresia.for five nights. It was the highlight of our visit to Costa Rica. We loved our cabin nestled amidst the jungle. The hammocks outside our room were great for reading after a busy day. The four course evening meals prepared by Juan were delicious. Juan was great as he accommodated my dislike of fish. I...

We spent about a week in Finca Maresia. Our host was Juan. He was wonderful. He did all he possibly could to make our stay the best. He did the phone calls, set up the tours, and helped out with transportation. It was great to wake up in the morning to the sounds of nature and to eat breakfast! Dinners...
