Our family of 8 (3 kids: 6, 9 & 12) had a fantastic stay here at the copa! The staff is amazing, rooms are beautiful, and every amenity you could want is at your fingertips. The excursions are plentiful and well planned and we had a great time boating, hiking, swimming, snorkling and more. Stay at the copa on your...

Wow. What can I say. We went to Copa De Arbol for our honeymoon and it was the most incredible experience. It is possibly the best hotel I've stayed in. We checked in to Copa for our Honeymoon and were treated excellently from the moment we arrived. We particularly enjoyed paddle boarding during sunrise with Matula and the night hike...

The highlight of our trip to Costa Rica has to be the Copa De Arbol Beach and Rainforest Lodge, for us it was the perfect idyllic location where we were constantly exposed to the wonders of the flora and fauna of the Pacific Rainforest even from the balcony of our lodge, there was a host of things to see purely...

Wow this place is truly amazing. We flew in to the Drake airstrip and were met with a driver that took up to the town of Drake where we were picked up by boat and taken to paradise. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and the meals were great. They accommodated my gluten allergy and we had some...

This was our favorite stop while in Costa Rica for 15 days. We arrived by boat from the Seirpe River. That's the way to do it! The service people are helpful and friendly, and they do it all with a big smile! Our Casita was spotless! They deck these places out! We were greeted upon our arrival with a cold...

When you think that a night on Necker Island can cost $5000 a night, Copa de Arbol seems like a bargain. We spent 5 nights here in April 2016. We had blue sky all day every day of our stay - no rain whatsoever (take that, Necker!). This meant it was a steamy, humid time in the jungle, though still...

Thank you for what is probably one the most comprehensive reviews we’ve ever had. We appreciate you taking the time to give potential future guests the inside scoop on your personal experience. We’ve noted your comments about the sun shade/umbrellas by the pool. We’ll try to get that taken care of as soon as possible. We’re so pleased that you...

It is difficult for me to put into words the amazing experience my family had during our 5-night stay here. The staff and the amenities at Copa surpassed our expectations; in one word they were amazing! A hidden gem for sure! As this was the first time traveling internationally, we were a bit nervous thinking of all the “what if’s”...

We’re so pleased that we were able to pacify all of your “what-if’s”. We get a lot of guests telling us that they were nervous at first and had reservations about coming out to our remote location in Drake Bay. The boat rides, the plane, no road leading in…guests can be a little apprehensive, that is, until they get here...

Copa de Arbol is within my top 3 favorite hotels in all Costa Rica AND it's located in my favorite region, The Osa Peninsula. There are only 10 thatched-roof bungalows that are all (wonderfully) decorated with an eco-chic, Balinese vibe. Every bungalow comes with A/C, which is a luxury feature in itself when staying down in The Osa Peninsula. Copa...

When our guests go out on a fishing trip and come back with dinner for everybody at the resort....that’s called “keeping it in the family”. That mindset is contagious here at Copa De Arbol. When our guests are happy, we’re happy. Thank you for the wonderfully detailed review.

This is an ideal resort for families to experience a tropical rainforest. You are literally in the middle of a rain forest with animals everywhere. You are also right by a beach. It is definitely a 5 star experience. Here are some observations: 1. You will need to get to Drake Bay (most likely by small plane from San Jose...

We love it when guests come to the resort and get to experience so much in a relatively short amount of time. The night walk, morning bird walk, Corcovado and snorkeling....you guys had a pretty full schedule. Thank you for calling us a “unique eco-lodge and our staff thanks you for the kind words. One day we’ll have a solution...
