We just returned from our 10 day trip to Costa Rica. Charlotte K and Jennifer F. said exactly what I was going to stay. We really enjoyed our stay. It was much more basic that typical trips we have taken. Rooms were very well maintained with great beds and furniture. No hair dryers in the villa's, but I am sure...

Our experience far exceeded our expectations. The Lodge and surroundings are fabulous. The people warm and helpful. Our guides so knowledgable and fun. The wildlife and scenery stupendous. We heard that the area benind the Lodge maybe developed as condos. That would be tragic, next comes big resorts and a big airport. Also in the works is a huge hydro...

The perfect spot for a rainforest adventure. Getting there is half the fun. From landing at Drake Airport, the taxi ride through the river, to jumping into the boat between waves, to the cayman sunning by the landing dock, the adventure builds! The staff awaiting our arrival were so gracious and enthusiastic that we hardly noticed the climb to the...

We wanted our first trip to Costa Rica to be an authentic taste of the country and all that it has to offer. We didn't want to stay at one of the huge resorts near Guanacaste. A small lodge was in order and La Paloma has so many stellar reviews online that it was an easy choice. We stayed at...

La Paloma is the perfect blend of luxury and being completely 'off the grid'. My wife and I stayed at La Paloma for a portion of our Honeymoon last June. Of all the places we visited while in Costa Rica, La Paloma and the Osa Peninsula were our favorite by far. Our room was amazing...the view was perfect and we...

Super views of jungle and ocean from rooms. All kinds of wildlife on or near property. Beach and plenty of walking trails on property. Easy walk into town but no need to go there. Service was the best.

Spent four nights here in February 2013 with kids that are 11, 9 and 7. Had and an amazing expereince and it was the highlight of our three week trip to Costa Rica. No doubt this is more expensive than other options, but once your excursions are paid for, you don't have to pay for anything other than a few...

We had a magical time staying for three nights at Paloma Lodge and received a warm greeting from Jess when we arrived. Location second to none, but lodges needed more protection from monkey raids! However, although overall we enjoyed our time at Paloma Lodge, a couple of things affected the quality of our stay. Firstly we were told that communal...

However, if requested we are glad to provide a private dinner table. We hope that by eating together people from around the world will make friends and...

The Osa Peninsula offers a unique opportunity to experience an ecologically dense area without sacrificing on relaxing beach days. La Paloma makes this unique place even more special. Combining outstanding wildlife tours (Bug Hike, Mangrove Swamp Tour, Snorkeling near Cano Island, Corcovado) with amazing beach relaxation (Cocolito) makes this place an ideal vacation for differing interests. Access to beautiful nearly...

La Paloma is an eco lodge in the Osa Peninsula, on the Pacific Ocean. Yes there are some hills to climb, but the rewards are worth it. Wildlife abounds day and night. Wake to the calls of Howler Monkeys and early evenings with screech Scarlet Macaws. It is super clean at the lounge, kitchen and your rooms are spotless, even...
