I can not say enough good things about this resort, Every single person that works there was warm and welcoming from the owner Bradd to the gardeners. Speaking of the gardens I spent one half of a day just admiring and photographing the gardens and grounds in general. Everyday was a fantastic adventure for us. Meals prepared by Dixon can...

I loved this place. Wake up in the morning to a delicious breakfast, head off for your destination for the day (perhaps a guided tour in Corcovado) or snorkeling (or scuba) or birding or fishing, and then come back to choose your delicious meal for dinner (always with an option of fresh fish possibly caught by one of the guests)....

We stayed three days and nights at this charming inn. While this inn (and indeed the Osa Peninsula) is not for everyone, it was wonderful for us. Probably of of my favorite places to stay. First, this an eco-lodge, where you leave A/C and TV far behind. But it a lovely, high-end eco lodge. Indeed, you arrive at the inn...

This lodge has everything you need to experience the wealth of wildlife and all the diversity of Costa Rica at its wildest. The location, the clean screened accommodations and the outstanding food, all made for an exotic and unique luxurious experience. We took the Mangrove Tour back up the Sierpe with Carlos and his driver who made our trip an...

You have to boat into this charming inn, run by Bradd and staffed by friendly helpful people. the setting is picture perfect, but you do have to climb to your room but it is worth the trip because the view is magnificent. Many trips can be arranged and you see birds, animals, plants, insects, frogs etc you would never see,...

Seventeen years ago we took our teenagers to Aguila de Osa. Last week, when my husband and I returned we were thrilled to find ADO was thriving, updated, and even more wonderful than we remembered. That doesn't happen often after years of dreaming of a vacation spot. The food, the staff, the guests, the views from our room, the expeditions,...

My friends and I have been coming to Aguila de Osa for almost 20 years. I have travelled all over Costa Rica and quite simply this is my favorite place in the country. We stayed in room 14 which is the suite. Since last year there are new beds, a new shower , a new bathroom and a wet bar....

I love the intimacy of this resort. You feel like you are at a private home with the happy hour every day and everyone sitting down for dinner together to discuss their adventures that day!! We met people from all over the world. Love the kayaking down the river, the jungle hikes, the beach and all the wildlife around you....

Before we arrived there was an issue with debiting funds from my credit card and I was concerned about the place. There was no need. I have rarely felt so beautifully looked-after anywhere in the world. All the staff have been with the hotel for years, and what at first glance appeared a bit saccharine - remembering all our names!...
