My sister and I stayed at Jinetes for four nights. The staff at Jinetes (especially Carolina, with whom I e-mailed multiple times about our reservation request) was extremely helpful and friendly, and our stay could not have been smoother. We booked one night in a standard room (room 8, you want to avoid this one if you can as it...

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our time. The rooms are very basic but the staff are helpful and friendly, the food and fresh bread is delicious, the hiking in Corcavado was amazing and the whole experience was great. The diving was good, the divemasters were great in the water but had terrible people skills on land.

Briefly put - this was the greatest place I've ever gone. Every moment was an intriguing adventure. The place was great, the people excellent, food also excellent. I recommend the "Jungle at night" tour with the bug lady.

Getting there and back was more than a little difficult. We took the boat option, and I would recommend the flight instead. Once we got there, the experience was sublime. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating, the other guests were warm and the place had a great sense of community. They made us veggie food and even cooked the...

Drake bay with group of SCUBA divers December 5-12, 2009. Flew into Drake airstrip on small plane then on to land rover and then to Jinetes. Welcomed by staff who were top notch. Room was simple yet had everything we needed. Note there is no a/c and at times it was a bit warm but a simple walk to the...

We stayed at Jinetes for 6 nights in mid November, and it was fantastic. The rooms were basic but comfortable. However, the charm is the remote location and the fantastic staff. Jessica and Krista were great and extremely helpful and accomodating, especially when arranging last minute excursions.. We also loved the fact that it is a small place so we...

Finally got around to posting about our trip to Jintes de Osa Nov. 18-27. In a word, it was Great! We've taken alot of dive trips to alot of places, and this was the best all around trip we've ever had. The diving was good. Although the visibility wasnt the best, we still saw lots of marine life, including dozens...

We stayed 3 nights at this location and wished we could have stayed the other 5 of our trip. The location, facilities and resturant were above expectation for the remote location. But the really value is with the staff. Jessica and Maritsa went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and worry free. They assisted us with making arrangements...

My exsperience and Jinetes Osa Hotel was amazing!! the staff was very nice and the food they provided for you was delicious!! when your there it makes you fell back at home. Besides the little visitors in your room, like tiny crabs, the rooms were very clean. Being footsteps away from the coast, i was exspecting many crabs. The tours...

The hotel is basic but that is to expected in a rather remote location like Jinetes is located. We thought the food was so-so (most other guests agreed), the organised snorkling was great fun and the recommendation to take a little canoe tour one hour south was very worthwhile. The relatively low rating is because of 1) safety issues (theft/crime)...
