I would highly recommend making this your place to stay in Guatemala and the Lake Atitlan area. The food is amazing. The price is great. The view is truly unbeatable looking across the lake. The rooms are clean and safe. Rosa can give you great recommendations on things to do in the area. The property is so peaceful and quiet....

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our time at La Casa Rosa. The staff were very friendly and the food, while a bit pricey, was great. The view from the hotel restaurant was fantastic. It was a very romantic setting. The room itself was decent. Be sure to use the bug net that covers the bed! There were quite a...

La Casa Rosa is a rustic hotel that has a great location right on the shore of Lake Atitlan near the boat dock in Santa Cruz. The view of the lake and volcanoes cannot really be beat in this area. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed our recent stay here for two nights but there were a few things that...

My partner and I loved, loved, loved our time at La Casa Rosa. After one rough, buggy, and unhappy night at IslaVerde (down the lake a short walk), we wondered into La Case Rosa as weary, shipwrecked travelers looking for a clean, safe place to drop anchor. And boy did we find it! First off, as traveling love partners, La...

When we arrived at Casa Rosa the owner told us that our booked villa was not available due to a mistake booking.com did. As a solution she gave us a single room where she added another bed and doubled the price. Even though we were happy having a place to stay for the night Casa Rosa was very disappointing. The...

This place is truely stunning, with amazing tropical gardens which I spent my days relaxing in. This is a place of tranquility, for finding peace....

I first came to Lake Atitlan and Santa Cruz in December 2009. The very first place I stayed at was at La Casa Rosa Hotel. Right away I knew I had found a very special and charming place; Rosa, the owner, was the first person I met, and she could not have been more friendly or helpful. After a very...

What a wonderful find!! I had been living Pana for six weeks when my boyfriend came for a visit I decided to find a quieter location. Casa Rosa was the place! The hotel grounds are beautiful and the rooms are cozy and well priced. We loved every minute. We meant to stay only three nights but extended our trip an...

I was excited to stay at Casa Rosa because at double the price we were paying at Mikaso in San Pedro I was expecting more... while the location is in a very pretty setting on Lake Atitlan, to the right of the main dock, I had several issues overall with our stay. 1. There was a scorpion in our shower...
