We found this hostel whilst we were there, since we had originally reserved a different place which turned out to be terrible and we felt compelled to leave and find somewhere better - in comparison, this place seemed like paradise. The staff were reasonably attentive, the price was OK, and the room we had was actually lovely - great view...

This place isn't cheap by San Pedro standards, and it's not even all that wonderful. The staff isn't terrible, they just don't care all that much. The rooms are ok, nothing breath taking, and one wonders why the prices are so high. However, you can haggle if staying for an extended time, and you can do worse. Not a rousing...

I stayed here for three nights. If you want a party hotel where you can meet many other travelers then I don't recommend this hotel. There are probably enough posibilities for that in San Pedro. If you're looking for a restfull place with clean rooms and private bathrooms for a very sharp price (room with tv, baño privado, clean towel...

We had room 9, which is on the top floor with a view of the lake. The view was lovely, but the room itself was a bit small, and there was just a curtain in place of a bathroom door. We didn't mind that so much, but you can probably find better value hotels in San Pedro if you look...

Room had very poor lighting even for Guate. Rooftop terraza view was excellent but views from rooms are either poor or non-existent cept for 2 rooms on the noisy street. We got here late & tired from Nebaj. Were charged Q200 for a very ordinary room in a hotel that was almost empty. The next morning when we compared with...

Good price, clean, great location - close to everything. Buy a loaf of banana bread from the ladies in the a.m.Lots of good eating right outside door of hotel. Internet cafe just down street. Very short walk to pana dock and tuk tuk taxis.

Outside of it's absolutely OUTSTANDING views, the hostel was pretty average. The beds are a little worn, as are the sheets, the place is clean but not sparklingly so, and it's got a nice open-air feel to it, but I definitely didn't see the value. It was around $12 night per person per room when I was there, and there...

The rooms are small, the view is good, owners are helpful. That there is only a curtain to the bathroom might not be exactly the standard. Otherwise, nothing to complain about except for the price: there are better options for that price around. We paid - after a bit of negotiating - 140 Q for the room.

The room was clean and nice enough for the price. The view is nice and there is a roof terrace with couple of hammocks and tables. Only complaint we had was that there is only a curtain separating the bathroom from the room which really doesn't give you any privacy.
