Hotel Sakcari: A seriously great location with nice rooms, but if you want to avoid horrible management, then just stay away. My boyfriend and I booked online for 5 nights, and while we were here we had to leave a day early due to a family complication. So we asked someone up front what the policy was on leaving early,...

Well located with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains as well as a beautiful, carefully maintained garden that attracts an extraordinary variety of birds. Inside much less inspiring than the outside. My room was clean but dark. The furnishings were spartan. The ceiling light was a bare bulb. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated dramatically, requiring quick...

Really stunning make views from almost every room. Free kayaks available, and very close to several top restaurants in this chill town. Management was extremely friendly and helpful extending our stay. They also take Visa, which is rare for San Pedro.

This is our second year of staying at Sak'cari with a group of 24 people. It is a beautiful, peaceful spot with beautiful gardens and views, yet convenient for the touring and exploring we did with our group. The apartments provided a space where we could meet together comfortably. Matthew and the staff were wonderful, they could not have been...

I've been coming here for about 8 years to get away from the cold. Reasonable rates, incredible view of lake atitlan, very attentive and friendly staff. Even the Internet is great. Can't say enough about the good vibes in hotel sakcari. The gardens in themselves are a treat, tended by a master gardener. Already made my reservation for next year!

Clean, peaceful, budget friendly, and superb views of the lake & volcano! Highly recommend requesting a room with a lake view, it's well worth the extra cost!! Very peaceful & tranquil in the morning when the sun rises over the lake & shines in your room window!

The hotel is really nice, the gardens are quiet and have a nice view to the lake. We got a room with a wonderful view. However, we left for a tour at 4 am and when returned to our room at 8 am, we noticed that someone has been in our room. When we went to the reception desk to...

What a view! If you want a room with a view in San Pedro, this is the place! Very friendly staff and within very easy walking distance of the restaurants and bars, but far enough away Hotel Sakcari remains quiet. Spend the extra money for a lakeside room, you'll be glad you did. We'll gladly stay here again!

What a view!!! We stayed in a room right in front of the lake and hammocks. The room had cable tv, supplied towels linen etc. free water refills were great. The staff were helpful and friendly enough. A great place to relax and soak in the views. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
