This hotel is very busy as there are not that many hotels on the south rim of the GC. We had a nice room that was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are a lot of large tour groups who come through so it can get crowded in the lobby and there are a lot people coming and... More

Advice for staying here - try and check in early before the crowds!!! I think we managed it at about 2:30pm and by 4pm the reception desk was swamped!! As there the choice of hotels at the Canyon is limited I guess this is to be expected and I think the staff managed quite well. However, the breakfast situation needs... More

The hotel is what you'd expect from an Holiday Inn Express, no more and no less. We had a suite, which has a sitting room in addition to the bedroom. The main thing is its proximity to the Grand Canyon, which is around 5 miles away. There are a number of hotels/motels in Tusayan, all in a strip about half... More

The rooms were average, clean and comfortable, but the pool area and the jacuzi are both small which makes them crowded. The attitude of the staff varied but most were friendly. The breakfast is ok with a good variety, but they let it run very low and start taking it up well before the end time. For the $$ we... More

Stayed for 1 night purely because of the close location to the Grand Canyon and was not disappointed with the choice. We were upgraded to a suite with a separate lounge and the space in the suite was fantastic. Very good value and very clean property. We would certainly stay again if we ever returned to this area.

Booked one night. The hotel is very expensive. The night in regular room cost more than 200 dollar. Guess it is because of summer weekend. Parking is enclosed and no too much cars there, it's mean hotel is half empty. Breakfast is basic , but sufficient. Got upgrade to suite for free, but still a dust everywhere. Max cost or... More

Traveling with children; this hotel was convenient to the Grand Canyon at a good value. It's only a 2 minute drive to the airport which was ideal since we took a tour from there. The kids loved the pool and the hot breakfast was great.

Checkin was very slow due to only two staff on who were snowed under. Helpful once you got to them and they happily confirmed our heli booking and made a good dinner recommendation. We had a small suite in a separate building to the main building which was nice. Handy in centre of town although we still chose to drive... More

Hotel was in a good location for driving up to the Grand Canyon. We had the family room with a bunk bed - bottom was a double bed and top a large single so plenty of space for 2 adults to sleep!! Good breakfast although it was busy.

Tusayan is a small town. All shops, lodging and restaurants are clustered together and are all walking distance from each other. Pros: -Staff is friendly considering how understaffed and busy they seem to be -Hotel is close to entrance of Grand Canyon, grocery stores, restaurants -Hot breakfast offered is sufficient (offerings were the same both mornings we were there) Cons:...
