It's hard to say that our experience at GCCV was anything but underwhelming. From the cold and unwelcoming reception, to the generally scruffy ambience, the rather unlevel sites, the very grotty and poorly maintained ablution block ($2 showers after paying $51 pn for the site!), there's little to rave about. However, it is an easy walk to shops and restaurants...

We picked the Camper Village because it was close to the Grand Canyon. We arrived just before 10pm and left early the next morning. We knew we were going to be late and called. When we arrived the woman behind the counter seemed annoyed and checked us in. We went to our site and set up. We were not given...

The reason to stay here is that it is one mile away from the National Park and you can catch a free shuttle bus right across the street at the IMAX. There is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Otherwise the park is old, ugly, not well kept. Everything in the bathroom is warn out or broken (locks,...

First of all, you are in Grand Canyon National Park. That makes an otherwise average campground an incredible place to stay. Yes, the sites are on the small side, and there are no showers in the RV park. The restrooms were sufficient--not the cleanest or fanciest, but clean enough and they worked. The worst part is that the sites are...

The three best things about this RV Park were location, location, location and the staff were friendly and helpful--everything else was not so great. I discovered a new reason that I don't like coin operated showers. After putting my last 8 quarters in the slot I noticed water pooling up around my feet because the drain was stopped up. If...

This has to be one of the worst RV resorts I have stayed at. Dirty bathrooms, poorly maintained, dusty, expensive, wifi sporadic at best, showers cost extra. Do not stay here if you can avoid it. Next time I'll stay in Williams Arizona and drive to the canyon for a day...or just stay at a hotel and not use the...

The only amenity is the close proximity to the Grand Canyon Nat'l Park. That is it. This rv park was muddy the whole time we stayed. they need more gravel. It was all mud. Terrible water pressure. Absolute no TV accessibility unless you have a dish with you. Unfortunately they are one of two sites close to the park. Never...

This campground is the pits. A parking lot basically. Yes, I know, we were here to see the Grand Canyon. But after a long day hiking, when we wanted to take a shower, $2 for eight minutes in the shower!! Really? We aren't paying enough to park our RV here? Worst campground ever!! If I could give it minus five,...

We don't like reservations and were surprised that the first come / first served desert view campground in the GC nat. park was already closed middle of October for the winter, all the other ones in the village, market plaza seems to be booked out weeks in advance. We were forced to choose the first camping out of the park...
