When I booked this hotel I envisioned an older building more appropriate to a railway hotel. The lobby and common areas are all decorated and designed to look older, but the rooms are modern. Everything at the hotel was fantastic and I would recommend. Just don't expect an older facility.

I stayed for a 3-night train-ride/hotel package, with meals and entertainment included. My 1st and 3rd nights were spent at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. And my 2nd night was spent inside the Grand Canyon at the Maswik Lodge. Lots of stuff happened during my 3-day train-ride/hotel trip, but this review is based on my two nights’ stay and two... More

Like thousands before us we stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel before and after our trip on the train to the G.C. To say these people have got it right is an understatement. The hotel is new, modern, well equipped and beautifully run. The foyer situated in the centre of the long two story building is stunning, and the... More

A cool and nice place of stay. Near an old train depot, and one can also take the train (Grand Canyon) train up to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. How about that? This place of stay has a nice buffet, and a nice dining area too. Good coffee, and nice treats too!

Great hotel we loved it. We hit the indoor pool and spa on arrival and loved the landscaping and surprise statues in the quads. The foyer is impressive with GREAT ARTWORKS . A short walk to Route 66 we went to the South Rims Garage and Grill up the north end for a group dinner and strolled back. My so... More

We stayed for one enjoyable night to take a trip to the Grand Canyon and what a great place. Close to the famous Route 66 and the attractive town of Williams with its neat shops and bars. The hotel offers good clean rooms a nice bar and friendly staff. The location is great for the railway too.

Caters mainly for people gong on the railway trip to the Grand Canyon. It is a very good location for a break on Road Trips. The hotel is right beside the Depot where there is lots of Raiway Memorabilia. Good sized rooms. They are on two levels and there is a lift. The breakfast which is not included in the... More

I kind of expected a more rustic place since it was connected to the Railway, but it's more like a Holiday Inn. That said, it was clean and nice. We did upgrade to a nicer room. They are kinda chinsy on the glasses. We had two paper cups to use in the bathroom and the same cups if you wanted... More

We have only stay the hotel for one night to go to grand canyon by train, room was ok the only problem it was confusing getting to your room so many turns, but still recommend the hotel. Restaurant just an average but you can find a lot of restaurant nearby.

I had a standard room and it was nice. Room is comparable to a Best Western Plus and is well equipped. New décor and clean. Fridge and computer desk. Bathroom was well lit and reasonably large. I didn't use the extra facilities but they appeared to be clean and in good condition. The hotel is located next to the Grand... More
