Grand Canyon is a good deal. Ok rooms, a bit too hot and nice people working there.

I had stayed at the Grand Canyon Hotel in 2010 and used it as my jumping-off point for points west this year. The Grand Canyon Hotel bills itself as the oldest continually-operating hotel in Arizona, and I believe it. It's located right on Route 66 in the middle of Williams. Some of the rooms even look out on Route 66....

There are a few gems in Williams and this was one of them. The owner was very helpful and made us feel right at home. Great place to stay and a little different.

After reading other reviews I booked an overnight stay while we went to the Grand Canyon. The location was good, but I would not recommend this hotel. Some of the furniture was nice, but it was intermingled with cheap, country decor which some was dirty and torn (not from age.) One of our rooms had twin beds and you could...

We stayed here for one night in September 2010, it was brilliant. We were allowed to choose the room we wanted from the ones that were available, we picked the Paris room. It really is a wonderful hotel and the town of Williams itself is really an experience, an unchanged old American town. We would highly recommend the hotel and...

We stayed here for one night to see the grand canyon. Unfortunately it snowed heavily and we couldn't see much. The propietor Amy was very welcolming and friendly, she let us choose our own room and offered us plenty of advice. When we left she even helped us dig our car out of the snow. The Hotel itself is a...

Me and my husband spend a night in the Michigan room. My husband who is from MIchigan loved the tourist guides in the room and was thrilled to find his hometown on the map in the room. The owners made you feel like you were home and the bed was very comfortable. I found it to be the perfect place...

Centrally situated, comfortable room, lovely old building, relaxed atmosphere, pleasant welcoming hosts: what more could one ask for? If they served a breakfast it would be almost perfect! We will certainly be back next time we hit the Grand Canyon area.

The hotel was nice, and it was about 15 min from the Grand Canyon National Park, which was convenient. Especially since we booked on short notice and there was nothing available in the park. The hotel restaurant was good and the wait staff was outstanding. We ate there for four nights in a row. Overall, very enjoyable.
