Great location! Older motel but right in town! Clean and modern inside rooms. Could walk to all the places in town! Ideal for family! Had our dog too and they were very accommodating. Enjoyed our stay! Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean.

We stayed here for two nights while we were on a road trip from Ohio to visit the Grand Canyon. We had always wanted to stay in Williams, and this motel offered great rates and a perfectly central location on the strip. Check-in was quick and easy, and the gentleman was very nice. He told me he was giving us two rooms -- still considered one room but beds in two separate rooms -- and I thought that sounded great. The room was in the older section of the motel, with parallel parking outside the door. Layout of the room was, well... odd. The first room had a high bed, the TV, air conditioner, and a tiny little sink in the corner. Half the room was carpeted while the other half was laminate flooring. There was also a table with one chair. The other room was originally part of the room next door, although it had been reduced in size and didn't have its own outside door, nor did it have a window or air conditioning. It had a bed, a light, a dresser and a fan. Between the two rooms was a teeny, tiny bathroom with a walk-in shower (which was very nicely done with stone flooring and walls) but the placement of the toilet was right in the middle of the room with the towel rack covering up the light switch. Access to the bathroom was from either of the bedrooms, but the sink was in the main bedroom so anyone staying in the second bedroom would have to come into the main bedroom to use the sink. A little weird. The rooms were both nicely updated and all, and they were spotlessly clean. But with the layout, having only one chair and TV, and no A/C in the second room, I'm not sure I'd want to stay again if given this same room or one like it. But the value was great and the location couldn't be beat.

This place was dirty and extremely run down. The air conditioning would not work and there were structural issues with the door to where it was loose in the frame. I originally planned to stay 2 nights, but after the first night we were hot, grubby and exhausted. I tried to work with the woman at the desk, but she was not accountable for the state of the motel. She was flat out rude. I left because talking to her was a challenge to my patience. Thankfully, I booked through hotels.com and they got my money back for the second night of my stay. Avoid this crappy motel even if their website looks good. LIES !!!!

The man at the desk helped me out with my reservation when I made it for the wrong day. He was extremely kind and accommodating! The room was nice and the shower was wonderful with good water pressure!

This is a wonderful place for one night, but we would not want to stay here for multiple nights. Room was very cramped. Not counter around the sink. No breakfast or coffee. Staff is wonderful and very friendly.

Star Route 66 Hotel on historic Old Route 66 is within walking distance of the main part of downtown Williams. It was perfect for our 2-night stay. The beds are soft and comfortable although the pillows were too hard for my liking. Everything was clean and when the expected hair dryer wasn't in the room, the front desk provided one. The bathroom vanity had some damage to one of the sides but that sort of thing doesn't bother me and it did not affect bathroom use. At around $130/night including taxes and fees it is very reasonably priced. It has a private parking lot and free WiFi.

What a little gem. We came into town for the Williams Car Show and had a great stay at the Star Hotel. The rooms is nicely decorated, clean and a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. It has a mini fridge, microwave which makes it nice if you have leftovers from the great restaurants. Plenty of to park and if you have a room in the original row of rooms you can park right in front of your room. Hotel is walking distance to all the restaurants and stores on Route 66. The staff was very nice and helpful. Already made our reservations for next year. It is worth a visit.

I stayed there last April 2022. I booked a king bed room , they are the original row of rooms built in the 1930's . The parking is a narrow alleyway where each guest is supposed to park in conjunction with their room number , but nobody hardly does that . It's a tight and tricky place to try and deal with . . My room had only a shower and was very small and had an uneven floor .. The television had COLOR like all the way up , super intense orange , etc. I tried to somehow adjust it but that through off the reception and I had to get help . The owner / manager became upset with me about it [ after 2 attempts ] and I realized there was no way to set anything on the T V at all , just off / on , volumne , channel . . After a couple of days , I switched to the double queen rooms in the back of the place . They are much better , larger rooms [ same unadjustable TV though , and the air conditioner /heater was burning out with bad odor] But I did'nt ask for repair and just waited till check out time to inform the desk . I had to go to the hotel next door to get ice because the Star's machine was froze up . . But it's in a good location for access , shopping , etc. If you choose this hotel , I would recommend getting a double queen bed room in the back , and good luck to you .

Nice little Motel, centrally located in the center of town. Walking distance from downtown shops, restaurants, and the Grand Canton Railway Depot. Beds comfortable and the lady working the front desk was super nice. Room came with mini refrigerator, coffee maker and flat screen TV.

Room is clean, mini fridge works, tv works, lots of drawer space, bathroom is clean. The beds are clean and comfortable though the pillows are kind of lumpy. The wifi is decent and there’s lots of cable channels. We checked in at 10:30pm and was greeted by a very friendly desk person. He was alert, so he hadn’t been sleeping in the other room. He explained everything and directed us to our room. Located right downtown, near cafes, restaurants, gas stations, shops, bars and an independent brewery. There are a few drywall dents and screw holes in the bathroom but they seem to be from simple use and maintenance. I would definitely stay here again.
