It's a beautiful hotel with many quiet spaces and a fine restaurant but...they are not family-friendly. I felt staff keeping an eye on my very responsible 6- and 10-year old children (who enjoyed playing chess in the lobby.) I was very disappointed that they didn't open the main entrance gate, forcing our family through a fine art area with many...

The hotel is truly an amazing place. The hotel and gardens are really beautiful. The building is quite fascinating and has an interesting history. The lobby and hallways have a number of interesting art works which are quite brilliant but could be a little morose. Winslow other than The Corner is rather a dull place. The hotel the only interesting...

So much more than just and old train station. Stay at LEAST 2 nights, if you can. This Mary Colter designed, restored gem, needs time to absorb. The Martini Lounge and The Tourquoise Room Restaurant are exquisite. Book a room on the 2nd floor with a balcony, or spring for the suites on the 3rd floor. Idle your time away...

First of all, the front desk attendant was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We toured the galleries and gardens. We play UNO with out daughters in the Lounge and had the most amazing dinner at the restaurant. This place is a gem and worth the stop and stay for anyone traveling nearby....

Just wrapped up another 3 night stay. Hotel continues to make little strides forward. Excellent front desk. Weaker wifi that last year. Rooms and interiors very clean. Exterior and grounds need some work. Painting was underway. Gardens and trees just coming out of dormancy when we were there 10 days ago. Nice new shaded areas for train watching, but not...

TripAdvisor reviews brought me to check out this hotel while road-tripping through Arizona. I drove up to a dusty tiny little town called Winslow. Stayed at La Posada for the night & love, love, loved it! If you are into architecture, history, colors, & the arts this is the place for you! Restored to it's classic beauty, this Sante-Fe RR...

Kudos to artist Tina Mion, her husband, and their partner for their faithful restoration of architect Mary Jane Colter's hotel. We have stayed here many times over the years, and La Posoda just gets better and better. Each of the rooms and suites now has modern conveniences, like flat screen TVs and updated bathrooms, however each is furnished with a...

One of my favorite hotel stays in recent years. The restoration of this classic Southwestern railroad hotel has preserved the history of the place and updated it with exotic splashes of color and modern art. The rooms are all unique, and we were able to select the one we wanted - even so, when we walked into our room we...

I must note that I am a fan of the history of Harvey Girls and Hotels. La Posada is a former Harvey Hotel. It is going through renovations and they are amazing. The hotel is beautiful. And, the owners are doing a wonderful job of keeping the historical traits that make it so special. The staff was very friendly and...

La Posada is a beautiful, unique piece of American railroad history and should be on everyone's bucket list for the Southwest. A walking tour booklet included with the room provides background on the many historical pictures on the walls throughout the property. Rates are reasonable and the room was very comfy. The Turquoise Room restaurant was casual and offered fantastic...
