Overall the park is what you would expect, clean and maintained with exception of the Golf course. I was looking forward to playing while we were staying but after one round chose other well maintained courses in the area. Not sure whether it is management or owners but it appears that the course has been targeted by the park ownership or management for cost cutting. I have never played on anything worse. Course is hard packed (like playing on pavement) and replacement cups are recessed in the greens. This could be a very nice little course.

This is a beautiful 55+ park, intermingled with park models and RV's. It has a pool, hot tub, 4 pickle ball courts, and many other amenities. The people that live there are friendly and welcoming, The activity staff are first rate, as well as all the restaurant, office, maintenance and housekeeping staff. The only complaint we had was the manager who seems to take issue with anyone who crosses her path. If she doesn't like you, for whatever reason, she will have no contact with you. You are banned from the park newsletter, which is where you would get maintenance and emergency reports. You do not get updates regarding price changes, park rule changes, etc. It is a shame to be so petty, and someone will, at some point sue if they are hurt or their property is damaged due to her negligence. I hope they can correct the communication problem before that happens. Otherwise, this is a very nice park, with an older infrastructure. There were some severe electrical issues, hopefully that is also being addressed. The restaurant is first rate. Be sure to try it!

We had a nice 4 day stay. Our dog loved the large area out back and our site was comfortable. Played 2 rounds of golf. Short course in so so condition but reasonable rates. Did not use restaurant or bar. Pool to crowded to access which was our only complaint. Activities galore and folks seemed to really engage with one another.

The park is beautiful and the facilities are top shelf. The pool is exceptionally clean and well cared for...and there is poolside drink service. The outdoor bar and the indoor bar and restaurant are both reasonable and help make the place feel like a vacation resort. Lots of activities. We will be back.

Great people and staff(mostly) and lots to do but this is advertised as a golf resort which it is not. golf course is in very poor shape and overpriced as of today. My understanding that the golf fees are increasing when they should be decreasing to get people out and involved with meeting and greeting new people. Also this resort could use a second pool for swimming (exersize) instead of only one for bobbing around

We stayed two weeks and were super impressed. The restaurant is excellent with indoor and outside tables. It has great meals for a very good price. The manager always came by to check on us and the waitresses and bartenders were always friendly. The staff were always willing to help. There is lots to do, lots of activities and the park is kept immaculate! They even have a street cleaner that comes by daily. We travel all over the US and this is one of our favorites. We can’t wait to come back!

Horrible management! Believe the poor reviews. The 2 latest good reviews are by close friends of the manager. This place has spiraled quickly over the past 5 years due to poor management. Poor communication skills, poor customer service skills, gives priority to her friends (which are few). The manager should manage and not be trying to make friends with residents. GOlf ourse is dead. All of the palm trees are not half dead and brown. Fugly.

We have stayed at this park for five seasons during the winter months. We have met lifelong friends and have looked forward to returning. We have always felt we would purchase a park model here because of our love for this park. However over the last two years we have seen so much decline in the management and concern over major problems that we have decided against purchasing here. The park has experienced multiple power outages throughout this past summer never addressing the issues that caused the outages. So , as expected outages occurred this winter. The reason for the outages, the emergency plan to address the issue and a request for the long term plan was requested from the management went onto deaf ears. The manager did post on Facebook “I understand some did run their heaters…but we need to use minimal electricity until it is fixed”. Meanwhile temperatures in the 30’s ( and we are talking about 60-70-80+ year old. ). Many residents experienced weeks of no power, losing food in refrigerators and no heat or hot water. Still have never been updated on progress Any attempts to get answers was met with removal from a forum the manager had created for communication.
Now the manager is refusing to meet with block host to discuss concerns from residents. Residents feel unheard and have concerns over their investments.

All RV spots are among the Park models which are 12 feet away.
That the park allows outside functions next to you until 10pm is crazy.
That 10pm curfew might be ok if there are acres and barriers between gatherings and neighbors, but not half the length of motorhome away.

I am an annual visitor to Westwind since 2010, and this park is going downhill fast. The "manager" has zero skills. The place is being overrun with cats. The park appears to value day visitors who come for golf and dining, but has zero value for monthly or annual residents. I would choose anywhere else in Yuma, but not this park.
