We stayed two nights at the Wyvill and in room 4 which was nicely furnished. It was clean, comfortable and with excellent bathroom facilities so we were very happy with the accomodation. The first evening meal was excellent, half a duck, but the portions were too big for our appetites so we ordered more carefully the following night. The staff...

This was our 2nd stay at the wyvill. Brought my elderly mum so stayed in family room with 2 comfortable double beds. The room was large with good facilities. Both room and bathroom were clean and bright. No noise despite being above the pub. All the staff are really friendly, mum even got a bag of granola to come home...

What a lovely hotel! A great welcome to a luxurious comfortable ground floor room with a secluded patio. Lovely local food. The shower in the room was really great. Our dog was also made welcome and was very happy.

We stayed here with a dog and two children including a child with Down Syndrome. The hotel welcomed us all warmly and made our stay really lovely. Beautiful fresh rooms and delicious breakfast. We will be back.

After an illness my husband booked this 2 day break for a rest for me over the Xmas period. Our room which had the most comfortable four poster bed was excellent , perfect modern bathroom with walk in shower.Also tea and coffee facilities in the room, a nice touch with some really good biscuits. The breakfast was cooked to perfection....

Stayed here for one night with our 3year old granddaughter , so booked the family room which had two double beds! The room was very spacious, very clean and a lovely big bathroom! Also with tea/coffee facilities! We ate in the restaruant downstairs where there is an excellent menu! Plenty to choose from and a very good choice for children....

We stayed here for 2 nights. Both us and our dog were made very welcome. the accommodation was excellent, a large room with brilliant shower and an enclosed private courtyard. The food was to die for both breakfast and a lovely varied evening menu ( puds highly recommended) When next in Yorkshire we will be visiting again.

Cannot fault a single thing from the moment we arrived with a warm welcome to the moment we left with a promise that we will return as soon as we can!
