This place is a gem! I stumbled upon this hotel and was so glad that I did. It's conveniently located in Patan so that you can easily walk rather than relying on a taxi. And at the end of the day, you can return to your room to enjoy peace and quiet. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Mine had...

We wish we could spend more time at THS! Our room is simple but elegant and comfortable. the architectural restoration/remodel work is clear and respectful of the original. Everything was really well-kept, staff is unerringly welcoming and attentive. As well, the thought and care to sustainably concerns is really great. The food in the cafe is a delight, as well!

We stayed early October in this nice charming guest house in the center of Patan. We had booked the family room, which was very new. All furniture was great and the room was very stylish and clean. We really loved it. Also the Café downstairs was amazing and made really tasty food. We loved the healthy breakfast and the iced...

I came across this lovely little hotel by chance and I am really glad I did. I had a large, stylish, comfortable room with a compact but very good bathroom. It was well located but also very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the attached cafe served a really good breakfast plus a really nice dinner- and...

The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and clean and the traditional building has been beautifully renovated. We spent our first three nights in Nepal here and booked it again on our departure for our last three nights in Nepal because we liked it so much. The food in the restaurant is excellent and...

My wife and I spent 3 nights here back in February. Patan was a wonderful place to explore and Swotha is right in the middle of it all. The Attic Suite is really cool and has a (shared) roof patio outside the door. The patio is a great place for a few beers during the sunset over this beautiful, ancient...

The warmest of welcomes awaits in a beautiful Nepalese building. Every attention is taken care of and rooms are comfortable and traditional. A delicious breakfast awaits you in the morning. A few steps from the heritage site of Durbar Square, Swotha is the perfect place to enjoy the city. The staff cannot do enough for visitors- go and enjoy!

This is lovely place to stay in Patan, which is basically a bit of Kathmandu. The hotel is in the heart of the old city and the atmosphere is terrific, particularly in the early morning sun. Rooms are charming, if simple but very soothing somehow in the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Breakfasts good too and terribly hard to choose...

In 2013 I spent a few nights in this peaceful spot. So for me the choice was easy when I got the chance to come back to Nepal. Good food, excellent location close to Patan Durbar Square, exiting Newari atmosphere and hospitality. A very helpful staff makes me feel at home:-)

I stayed at Traditional Homes for a little under a month and found it delightful. The location is just perfect, in the centre of Patan. There are many decent restaurants and shops in the area, which are more affordable and just as good, if not better quality, than you may find in the centre of Kathmandu. It's also far less...
