I have been staying at the Summit since 1996, including a long-term stay in an apartment in 2000. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. My last trip was in September 2016 and I will soon be back.

It's a good place to take some rest from the caotic Kathmandu old town. Nice garden with pleasent view and atmosphere, good food and clean rooms though, at least in the so called 'Summit House', rooms are preatty small. Staff is available and professional although a female touch would be appreaciated (no women are in the management staff but only...

This hotel features beautiful grounds with excellent service, good food, a refreshing outdoor pool, and a fitness room. The rooms are comfortable and have AC and warm showers. The neighborhood is clean and friendly, featuring many walkable coffee shops (Top of the World), restaurants, and shops. We also encountered a weekend festival with live music, street food vendors, arts and...

This hotel is in a very good location, with beautifully designed gardens, swimming pool and comfortable rooms. The view of the hotel is very pleasing, and the view from the hotel is also very nice. Very good food is available with good service. The rooms are big and clean. I would recommend this hotel gladly to anyone visiting Kathmandu, Nepal.

It's ok but I've stayed in nicer and more friendly hotels in Kathmandu. The pool area and garden are lovely but everything is pretty expensive for Nepal. My room was ok but quite small and the wifi frustratingly logs you out every half an hour.

Having travelled and being in a lot of hotels for many years, I was so positively suprised by everything this hotel has to offer. First of all the setting of the place is beautifull - nice wide gardens, terrasses, swimmingpool and good fitness. Further staff is really taking care of you, food is good and rooms are perfect. Surely will...

Had to visit Kathmandu for a quick business trip and stayed at this beautiful hotel in the center of the city. The location is off the main road and is so serene that for a moment you forget you are in the center of the city. The hotel has lush green surroundings, a warm & helpful staff, and a fantastic...

A place where you can sleep with the windows open and wake to the sound song birds in the morning. Wonderful garden hotel with lush foliage. The staff were welcoming, cordial and very helpful. Serene pool, gym cabana, patio dining, stone terraces with urban vistas backdropped with the snow capped Himalayas. Bed and breakfast plan that doesn't break the budget...

This is a lovely hotel away from the hustle, bustle and fumes of Kathmandu but close enough that it's not hard (and not expensive) to get in and out of the city - esp, as there are a number of taxis right outside the hotel. There is a buffet breakfast and the staff are more than happy to help with...

What a great place to relax from the busy life and traffic of the city. Summit hotel is on a hill in Patan, so you actually may see the mountain tops in a right season. Rooms are clean and large, swimming pool is amazing, food is good. Most importantly, the compound is large enough to really feel away from it...
