Excellent location -- set back far enough from the main road that noise isn't a problem. Beautiful grounds -- swimming pool and gardens. Good gym. The staff is the real gem of this hotel -- helpful and always smiling. Breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful. Stayed here for 3 weeks in January. Will definitely come back!

Stayed a month at the hotel. Rooms are ok, with safety boxes, showers/bath work great, really hot showers and electricity all the time (very important in Nepal right now). But bed mattress isnt great. Could change. Housekeepers are super kind but if u do not put "do not disturb" in the morning, they'll start knocking, asking for laundry from 8am....

Last time it was a bit cold in the rooms, and I hate the pigeons flying around the garden leaving all the dirt and maing this awful noice. I enjoyed staying at hotel Himalaya; rooms were very spacious with free wifi. The hotel is very close to the airport. All the staffs were very kind and went out of their way to ensure visitors comfort, as I love African brewed tea they always made a cup for me on request at breakfast and during dinner time. There is...

An old-school hotel but very comfortable and the staff are particularly pleasant and helpful but can become overwhelmingly so at breakfast when they simply got in my way all the time yet I still had to refresh my own coffee most mornings. They seem to have been told to remove anything dirty and this can be annoying when one goes...

I am a frequent flyer and keep coming to Nepal very often. It was my first time to stay at the hotel. I heard about it from the taxi drivers and they had a very high opinion about it hence I decided to stay here for four days. The outer presentation of this hotel is really nice and tempting. I...

We were in Nepal for a mission trip and had a short stay over in Kathmandu. This hotel was our first stop and best impression of the city. We were greeted and treated royally. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that we had a good stay. And the breakfast was divine.

We went to Kathmandu on a missionary trip to help with some reconstruction efforts, when it was faced with gas shortages and many more difficulties than just earthquake. This Hotel is the best in every regard - I hope the staff reads this - because when other hotels were complaining - they made the best of everything. My sincerely thanks...

About 15 mins walk from Patan Durbar Square. Rooms are clean with high ceiling and high glass window. Bed and pillows are of five star quality. Hotel has a cozy bar but restaurant food is just about average.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This is a wonderful hotel for a stopover in Nepal. They provide excellent service. The rooms are a bit outdated but very clean. The gardens relaxing and the food offerings to suit anyone.
