This is one of those few hotels that survived the earthquake. I quite liked its eating place. It offered eating inside as well as on the pool side. Not very quite, nice ambiance with flower pots, vines and succulents. The food was good too and the officials very cordial.

Greenwich village is located in quite place of Patan with average amenities. Staff are nice and cordial but my stay this time was not very good. The room offered was closed with no view, suffocating, key difficult to open, shower is like small drizzle and towels are not very clean. i decided to change better hotel in NPR 1200 instead...

If you need to stay for some in time in Kathmandu, then instead of crowded Thamel you could enjoy Kopundole Heights in Patan. Greenwich Village is a nice hotel out of the main street. Good value for money also. Some nice restaurants nearby also.

I was staying at the Greenwich when the earthquake hit. The day staff stayed overnight and did a great job helping the guests. They were very helpful arraigning transportation to airport for guests and people coming in off the streets looking for help. Great staff

I stayed at the this hotel in October while on a missions trip. The hotel was conveniently located, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The dogs do bark at the house next door. The restaurant was good and the staff was helpful. The front desk staff was very helpful during our stay. The wifi is not great, it works sporadically....

I think this was a bit high priced for the type of place. It was not any nicer than several of the more "guest house" type of places we stayed in Nepal. The breakfast was alright. The pool area was pretty and the internet worked ok. We did not get the double bed we requested.

The rooms are dark and cold. Humidity is making it even worse. The shower itself is great, hot strong stream, but I wouldn't sit in the tub and the shower curtain was old, dirty and moldy. The towels had seen their best days, I could only guess they used to be white. Breakfast buffet is nice, good food but not...

We stayed here for 2 nights before & after a trek in Annapurna. We found the staff quite unhelpful (refusing to fix our toilet because it was after 9pm). The room was also very noisy with dogs barking outside from 5am right through to 7am. Breakfast was ok but service in the restaurant was disappointing. OK in terms of value...

I moved from the Summit Hotel to the Greenwich halfway through my stay in Kathmandu. The nightly rate was half the cost and as nice as the Summit. Staff was friendly and service was good. The room was dated abut clean. Would stay at this hotel again.
