I only stayed for a night here, but I had a very relaxing time. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for: the room was comfortable - simply furnished, but with a very hot shower (rare for a place at this kind of price), good bed, extra blanket and a decent TV; the location was spectacular, with unobstructed views...

A very nice hotel with some of the best views in Lake Atitlan! Very good value, the only thing I'd improve would be the breakfast - price was very reasonable, but some fresh bread and tortillas, and a bit better coffee would had been nice... Make sure to visit the ceramic and textile factories & shops in San Antonio Palopo......

We had planned to stay only one night, but we would like to have stayed longer. It's a fairly basic hotel, but very peaceful with lovely views. It's on the waterfront just on the edge of the village, with little paths leading up the mountain to the different rooms. We arrived quite early in the day, as we had only...

We spent 7 nights at this hotel, originally planned for four. It is set in a lovely lakeside setting, with million dollar views of Lake Atitlan. The building is akin to a Mayan ruins, set into a hillside. Our room was sparsely furnished with outdated furniture, but with sufficient comfort for our needs. It is set in a sleepy, non...

This hotel is excellent value for money! Ask for a room at the front, on the second level - you get an amazing view (almost as good as the view from the terrace where they serve food) and a hammock to lie in. It's not luxury accommodation, but has everything you need - food, beer, tv, bed. I only stayed...

Nicest place we stayed on the lake for a reasonable price. They have great food for good prices, cheap beer and delicious coffee. They serve empanadas for 10Q each and they are amazing! You have to ask ahead of time because they take 30 minutes to prepare. Absolutely beautiful views of the lake from the terrace dining area.

We met up with family and friends for 2 days at the lake. The hotel from the road looks very pretty, it has several small rooms which are immaculate (though basic) and very clean. Fresh towels and lots of hot water for showers. We got back late from visiting another town across the water and the family asked if we...

A nice and cozy room for 4 people for $50. It had good wifi and a great lake-view from a terrace. The only downside is service; normally there's just one person roaming the hotel, but it could be better. No more complaints!

We arrived on Christmas eve on the back of a pick-up truck. It is owned and run by a kind family who invited us to eat dinner there even though it was Christmas. Terrazas del Lago is a beautiful and quaint hotel across the street from Lake Atitlan and an old yellow school bus. Our room was comfortable and came...
