I would not recommend staying here. The building is very rundown. All areas need to be painted. The service is not very good. The staff is new and no manager on duty for both check in and check out. The final issue was at 10pm. Our room was over the kitchen area and we believe that is when they decided to clean out the grease. The truck noise went on for over an hour.

This was the our first time staying at The Crescent and it exceeded all expectations. The ambiance of the staff is unparalleled and the history and beauty of the property could never be duplicated. An absolute amazing experience.

The Crescent Hotel is a grand hotel. Going in means stepping back in time. The rooms have tall ceilings and are period accurate. The beds are comfortable, the lobby us gorgeous, the staff is outstanding, and the amenities are wonderful. There is breakfast available for a cost, but the cost is minimal for the quality of the food. The ghost tour is a must. The sky bar has good pizza, but a very limited menu. There is a pool and activities. The only downside is the pool hours are very limited so that makes it difficult to use. It is said to be heated and open when we were there, but it was closed. Not sure why. This place isn't cheap, but it is a unique and fun place to stay.

The hotel is just old and lacked the charm seen in the pictures on their website. Bathroom small and needs updating: very old tile; pedestal sink no vanity area; water temperature fluctuated. Light bulb needed to be replaced in one of the lights over the sink in the bathroom. Guests' conversations in the room next to us were easily heard.

Don’t miss it! The views are breathtaking. The hotel is so old but they do an excellent job of keeping it well maintained. We had drinks at the Sky bar....so yummy! We even had some pizza...not what we typically eat on vacation but this was good stuff. Go by and spend some time inside even if you don’t stay. Worth it!
