Our hostess was an absolute treasure as was her quaint hotel. "Dita" runs the guesthouse like it's her own home. The rooms were so decorative, colorful, and inviting. This is not your run-of-the-mill hotel. A unique and wonderful stay. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with panoramic vies of Meteora.

Monastiri Guesthouse is a family own hotel in Meteora, with very clean and confortable rooms, very individual rooms. The garden offers nice view of the meteora mountains and some monasteries. The owner is very friendly and willing to help. The breakfast is good and feels homy. Would recommend: Yes, would stay there again: Yes.

This is a family run guesthouse located a short walk from the train station, and where all the rooms have fabulous views over the stunning landscape of Meteora. We were welcomed and helped every step of the way by the lovely Dita and her family. Nothing was too much trouble, and she gets up at the crack of dawn each...

I had a fantastic overnight stay at Monastiri guest house last month. I wanted someplace quiet and convenient to the train station, and this was perfect. Dita was a wonderful host, very welcoming and generous with some great information--she has a xeroxed sheet that was incredibly helpful in terms of where to go and how to get around the area....
