Great location and a nice breakfast but two serious disadvantages. Smell of cigarettes and strange perfumes everywhere...bedroom, bathrooms, even dining room. Something terrible, second thing, they don't change your towels neither clean your bathroom. for the very first time I faced something like that and I need to point out that I travel quite a lot. This hotel got only 21 rooms and it's not really packed in a low season , so not sure why the owners don't hire someone for cleaning or maybe even doing it on their own since they spend most of the time smoking and chilling out. For this price it's really unacceptable. i would recommend you to stay somewhere else if you plan to spend more than one night in Kalambaka.

We had a room with a good bed and fantastic bathroom for 50,- per night incl. Breakfast. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The tiny city is nice to spend a couple of days. We loved it here and we will come back.

Nice, clean rooms, good breakfast. Right in the middle of the town-center, next to taverns, coffee-shops and bars. The perfect place for our 2 days trip in Kalambaka to visit the monasteries. Air-conditioning and wi-fi access included in the price. The room was small but enough for us 2.

Right in the centre of town. A nice comfortable little hotel. Our room was fairly small, but with a great view of the monasteries. It is a quaint little hotel, with a lovely sweeping staircase. We enjoyed our stay.

Location was above the square where the food was easily available. The patisserie under the hotel sells awesome sweets. The square has excellent food available right outside the door of the hotel. We stayed on the top floor but ended up with a view which we could look up to the monasteries. Good sized rooms and continuous hot water was great for the cold night. Just down from the hotel was the VisitMetorea tours which organised an excellent walking tour of the monasteries for us at short notice. On the negative side, the owners of the hotel are heavy smokers and the whole hotel smelt of cigarette smoke. During breakfast, we had a full cup of butts on the coffee table behind us sitting in water which smelt revolting. The breakfast was pretty standard, not that great, but average.
