This was one of the cheapest guesthouses we stayed at on our trip and it's also our favorite! You can only check in after 4pm as there won't be anyone at the reception before that. Our room was brightly lit as it had huge glass windows on both sides (good for keeping a lookout for northern lights at night as...

Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a nice kitchen and public space. If you need to wash clothes, u have to pack them and take it to staff. They will wash and dry the clothes, but it spent 3 hours and 1950 ISK.

The guesthouse was very nice and the host also he recommended us where to go and where to see the northern lights. In the room there are Comfy beds Clean room. There was 2 bathrooms and 2 showers for everyone which is good. Also there was big equipped kitchen to cook. And the view is amazing!

From the outside it looks like a concrete block. However the rooms are nice if a little short on storage. The living room kitchen etc are open plan so expect noise if your fellow guests aren't considerate. That said it's a well equipped place in a good location. If the prices stay reasonable (60 € a night for a double...

We were able to use the kitchen (small but modern and very nice) and make dinner and have a comfortable stay. Rooms were tight but very cozy! Host was quite pleasant and very accessible if needed. 5/5 recommend.

We stayed for one night and it was one of our best stays in Iceland. Guesthouse was pretty new, at the time we checked in the owner was in the midst of building more rooms. Whole place was immaculate! Rooms, shared bathrooms/showers and even the kitchen. Even though the kitchen was a little small, it was well-equipped and had plenty...

We stayed here as part of our trip driving the ringroad. There is s no shoe policy after the front door. Which was five as we had loads of snow. The rooms are all upstairs as is the kitchen, and bathrooms. There are two shared toilets and two shared showers. Don't be scared of shared facilities. They are super modern...

I loved my stay and Lyngas guesthouse. We saw the northern lights from our bedroom window! Easily the most spacious hostel I've ever stayed at. Kept very clean with a modern Nordic design inside. The outside really doesn't look like much but that shouldn't matter. Kind staff, free hot chocolate tea and coffee, great wifi.

This place had a good vibe about it, there are a few rooms but when we stayed everyone must have also been driving around the island so there was no trouble sleeping and no noise after 11pm. Kitchen and communal area was great, the toilets and showers weren't too crowded in the morning. Great location and would recommend.

First, we did get lost trying to find the place. We only happened to find it by seeing the sign through the trees a few streets over. That could be our faulty GPS though, who knows. The room itself was lovely and clean. Everywhere was clean. However, the showers are located next to the living room/dinning area. Giving you the...
