I liked the room a lot and was very comfortable. The bed was nicely situated and there was a sitting area as well. The baths were very nice after a long day but strong smell of sulfur took some getting used to. Parking was muddy and a little bit of a free-for-all; there didn't seem to be enough space for...

I booked a room at Frost and Fire for our last night in Iceland based on all of the great reviews and because we wanted to be close to Reykjaldur so we could hike it before our flight out. Overall we were very disappointed with our experience especially because we thought it would be the highlight of our trip. I...

We saw the Northern Lights right from the balcony of our hotel room! What more can we ask for? Not to mention the location of the hotel, the room and the restaurant is gorgeous! The hotel is also very close to Reykjadalur Hot Springs hiking trail

The positive. Great location. Fantastic breakfast. You can soft boil your own egg by putting it with a "fishing rod" in the natural hot steam outside and it tastes amazing!!! You are surrounded by hiking paths and they have all the right maps to show you where to go. Also near town if you want to go and eat out....

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant offers gourmet cuisine perfect to discover the local dishes. The room batroom was a bit small but the room was perfect with a nice balcony offering a great view! And the location is perfect and immerse you in nature with its outdoor jacuzzi. Amazing stay...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Frost and Fire hotel. Upon check-in we were given a short tour of the property. Our room was the standard double room and it was a good size for the two of us. It had an excellent view of the river and steaming hillsides. Robes and soccer slides were provided to use while...

Nice hotel with a beautiful view overlooking a river. Lots of hot springs in the area and even in the parking lot. Hard boil an egg for breakfast in the hot springs as part of the amazing and delicious breakfast buffet. Juices, meats, cheeses, breads, waffles, etc. Everything you could want. Enjoy dinner in the restaurant with several of the...

Stayed here for one night. Sad to say we were slightly disappointed, compared to the amazing reviews we'd seen. I'll start with the positives - the location is good, you're a short drive away from a hiking trail up to a hot river, there are hot tubs you can use until midnight which is a lovely experience, breakfast was great...

We stayed here recently for a couple of nights and used it as a base for visiting places on the Golden Circle. We had a nice, comfortable, clean and quiet room, with a separate bathroom, which had a lovely view over a river to some hills. There are a couple of outdoor hot tubs and a swimming pool, around 35-38C,...
