We stayed at the Frost and Fire Hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of April for my brothers wedding. On arrival we were a little dubious, it appears very basic however after a really friendly check in we found the rooms to be small but sweet, nicely decorated with a powerful shower and great heating. A little balcony allows...

This hotel is just okay. The rooms are fairly small and the bathrooms are tiny. There is no where to even put a toiletry bag. There are liquid soap dispensers beside the basin and in the shower. These are the only amenities. If you don't want to use body wash to shampoo your hair you'll need to bring your own. Aesthetically...

We stayed at the Frost & Fire Hotel on our last night in Iceland. The Hotel was spread out on a property surrounded by geothermal hot springs and facing a geo-thermally heated river. The rooms were comfortable and clean - nothing fancy but more than adequate. We were lucky enough to score a room facing the river so we had...

Don't usually book a budget room but all they had left! And we loved it. Clean comfortable beds. Room very small but who cares when there's a hot tub to jump iinto under the stars & a mud foot bath right next door to our room! The food was unique & made to order so dinner takes long but it...

Great hotel. Love how they cook the bread and eggs etc using geothermal heat outside. Also love that there are hot tubs and a relaxation room on site. The food was awesome too. There are also some great walks you can take from the hotel to different sites.

When we first checked into the hotel a younger blond women helped us out. She was very friendly and provided us with excellent customer service. Showing and telling us everything we needed to know. After checking in I realized I forgot to get a crib for the baby. So we asked the front desk figuring it would be free and...

A small hotel by the riverside. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. 2 outdoor spas, warm enough to enjoy late evenings. Do not miss the trekking up to the warm river, approx 4 K's uphill. The track up is a bit rough so use proper footwear and clothing.

The room was excellent, very clean with a great view. The restaurant was fantastic and is called Varmá (you can boil an egg in a hot spring) and you can watch the northern lights from the hot tub. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet.

We spent two nights here recently and it was the second best hotel that we stayed at during our week in Iceland. The hotel comprises of blocks of pre-fabricated units separated from the main reception and restaurant area. This lends the hotel a slightly temporary feel to it and does have some impact on the rooms - for example, the...
