We stayed 2 nights in an ensuite room. It was quite basic but big and very clean. The house is up on a hill easily seen from the ring road and ideally placed for the Golden Circle. Breakfast was a lovely spread with lots of homemade items. Both the host and his wife were very friendly and we received a...

We really loved this place-near golden circle. Within 30 minutes of everything. Sharing bathroom didn't bother us. Great breakfast. Helpful owners. Very traditional, living among the people, European experience. Very very clean! They provide shower products anYou can't cook here, so be prepared for that. Skip the hot dog stand even though it was rated the best in Iceland. They're...

The couple who run this guesthouse could not have been nicer. They helped us plan our route and gave us tips on some out of the way places. But they ask all guests to remove shoes and boots upon entering, which can make for some chilly feet. The breakfast was very good. Room needed some updating. Location beautiful.

This B&B was a good value for the dollar and does include a cold breakfast of herring, various breads and biscuits, hard boiled eggs, homemade jams, various cereals and granola, yogurt, ham and cheese, and fresh fruit (banana, plum, kiwi, oranges, apples, and pears. Tea and coffee is also included. I really enjoyed the breakfast here. It was very cozy...

We stayed here for one night onroute to a further destination after arrival in Reykjavik. House is really nice. Clean rooms, ample common areas, large outdoor deck, clean and modern shared bathrooms. Hosts are friendly, helpful, and jovial. Breakfast was the best we had in our week plus trip to Iceland, from the four different places we stayed. Fast wifi...

My husband and I stayed here one night, our first night in Iceland to start our tour along the south coast. The location is not "in town" (Selfoss appeared to be pretty small), but the area is pretty. The rooms were clean and large, bathroom fine (most will know this, but bring your own shampoo & such - not all...

Nice clean house. I liked that no shoes were allowed inside. The view was beautiful. Rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfast was the best. Delicious bread, herring, butter and jam, and muesli. Really great way to start our day.

Situated about 10km outside Selfoss, this is in a quiet location but with easy access to the main road. Rooms clean and comfortable, and a nice communal sitting area also available. Wifi available throughout. Complimenatry tea and coffee bar provided, and excellent breakfast. Only downside was the price, but that is typical of everywhere in Iceland. Expensive by UK standards.

A happy couple greets you here at this farm turned B and B. Horses close by. Terrific breakfast and the rooms are clean and attractive. This is a great place for your first night on the Ring Road (going counter clockwise). Arrive in Reykjavik, rent your car, visit the Thingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir, perhaps the Secret Lagoon in Fludir, then...
