We stayed for a week and had a great time. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful as well as good company, the rooms are comfy, clean and cheerful with great views. The location itself is beautiful and quiet (though the first night I was woken up by a very enthusiastic cockerel, but I simply closed the window and that...

It is a summer house not finnished yet. We had the impression that the owner is renting the rooms in order to pay the house works. There are 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms. One room and one bathroom are used by the owner with all his famíly (with children) and 4rooms are rented upstairs. One bathroom is for guests but...

I'm sorry that this anonymous person was so unhappy in my home. The reason for the bath not being ready is that there has been a steady flow of guests so I haven't been able to finish it. That is truly an inconvenience I'm sorry about. The reason for me renting the rooms is to pay the bills. House works...

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint B&B. The owner is incredibly helpful, welcoming and good company. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere - it is off the road a bit, making it a quiet stay. There is a great walk/short hike along the river nearby and you are only a short...

This is a really lonely house but strategically located in one of Iceland's most traveled parts. A wonderful room upstairs was available with a baby-cot quickly assembled by the owner. Bedding was excellent and the shared bathroom was adequate, despite the room occupancies of three parties. We cooked dinner in the family kitchen and had the included breakfast at the...

This B&B is very fascinating. The host is a very interesting person who has started both the organic farming business and the B&B business recently. When we went (June 2013) the place was "being built up" with new changes every day. Give it a few months and it will be one of the best accommodations in the area. The location...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hostel is at an organic vegetable farm in the warmest part of Iceland, in the south. We have four beautiful rooms, second floor, each with spectacular views, that includes two volcanoes - Hekla and Eyjafjallajokull. Wintertime is good for stargazers and to see Aurora Borealis. Summertime has 24 hours of sunlight. The hostel is positioned close to many of the most beloved tourist sites in Iceland. This is a truly exceptional place for those who seek peace and quiet. For activities there is a swimming pool 6 km, horse rental 6 km, golf courses 20 km and 25 km, canoe and kayak 25 km. ... more   less
